I don't think there's any official terminology for parts of a PSP Game, but I'm refering to the box you store your UMD in, with the manual and the game cover. Lately I've been able to find great prices for some equally great used PSP games. While the UMD, manual and cover were usually in great condition, the box was almost always scratched up with removed sticker spot (where the pricetag went) and just plain ugly. Is there some place where you could buy replacement cases for them, preferably "official" cases?

If not, I've been thinking of buying cheap new games, exchanging the box, and then re-selling them on Kijiji or Craigslist. Yes, I'm that anal about the condition of my games. Maybe I should stick to buying new games...

Another option if to pick up Sega Genesis Collection for PS2 or PSP, which has most of the above listed games (although not Castlevania: Bloodlines, sadly). For $25ish, a great buy.

I would check out www.tivs.ca for all your video game trade in values in Canada :)x_minion

+1. Was just about to recommend it.

Most of those are PS2 titles, so I highly doubt you'll get much more then 5 or 6 for each of them. I'd suggest selling them via Kijiji or Craigslist, where the common pricepoint for used PS2 games is $10.

mehhhhh, thats really bad deal imo. Its the original XBOX, not the Xbox 360. The XBOX is outdated like hell and it really is lame to play such a console that dates back to 2003. You wont find as much fun so i suggest save the 60USD, gain 130USD and buy the XBOX 360 arcade pack which is 190USD. Get a couple of old games or some newer ones that retail for 20-30USD and you will be much happier.

No offense but XBOX lame for gaming in 2009.

Who cares whether you're using a console from 2009 or 1979. As long as you're having fun, there's really nothing lame about it. What's lame is the mentality that playing with current gen console will make you much happier.

Although I have current gen consoles at home, I'm always more then happy to fire up Super Mario Bros. when I visit my grandparents. NES ftw.

Have fun trying to get 100% Mission Completion on your first playthrough. It's actually not too difficult, just time-consuming. My first playthough took around 30hours with about 40% Mission Completion. My second playthrough took 60hours with 100% Mission Completion.

Funny thing - even though I'm at Level 99, 100% Mission Completion, and have all 4 Genji items (luckily, I got the Genji Shield from the Magic pot on my first try - I've heard people trying for hours before getting it), my DMV is unusually far from complete - I think 5 characters still need 1 or 2 more "memories," and I've since given up on the random nature of it. I've tried equiping those items that increase your chances of a limit break of that character (Mastered multiple copies of the same item even), still to no luck. Pointless to continue.

The reward you get for building those three carts is, well...building two more carts. Aside from the two additional scenes with the colourful cart (the name escapes me - the one Aerith likes the most) and the Shinra cart (I actually found that scene a little funny, although corny), you get anything else. It's just a fun little side-quest to play through before heading off to Nibelheim.

Okay, so FF VII got released a few days ago on the JP PSN....which makes me a bit upset.

Look at our PS One selection. Now look at Japan's. Yeah...something isn't right.

I mean...we should be getting as much PS One games as they do! (Well, except for Japan-only titles) And if you read the PlayStation Store Update on Playstation.blog, you'll notice that the PSP hardly gets anything added to the PSN compared to its console brother.

Does Sony even care about us PSP users anymore? (I'm starting to think not...)

They better make up for this at E3.

Talldude80

why not just buy FF VII on umd? i swear i saw that at Fry's Electronics last week.

Was that at the Fry's Electronics on planet mars or Jupiter?

Although the two titles are related, they're very different genres of games. Afternoon of Darkness is a strategy RPG, while Can I Really Be the Hero is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. Therefore it'd really depend more on what kind of games you're interested in, rather then a direct comparison.

Before discussing the possibility of a new game, I think Konami should discuss the possibility of re-issuing MGS:PO. That game is out of print and relatively rare, considering the popularity of the series and the critical acclaim of the game. It took me quite a while to hunt down a used copy of it.

[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"]

It sold terrible for a GTA game.

darth-pyschosis

no. GTA: CW sales first 30 days at retail 200k in North America

GTA on PSP sales first 30 days at retail 156k in North America

its already selling better than some other GTAs

"...Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (full impression) only sold 88,704 units in its March month debut..."

"Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (released October 25, 2005 in North America), sold 161,806 units for the Americas in its opening week which completed the month of October. In 4 weeks time the accumulated American sales (primarily consisting of U.S.A.) was 327,872 units."

Make sure you're reading that stats properly!
