@decepticon4lyfe86: haha, yeah i'm not saying Geralt shouldn't be ripped, but it is more the size. People can be muscular and shredded but not HUGE. am i making sense? i'd say it is the difference between like Hugh Jackman is ripped as Wolverine but he's not massive, say like someone like The Rock is. Maybe Hugh isn't the best comparison because he's tall, but I hope you see what I mean.
@decepticon4lyfe86: I loved the short story collections (The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny), so I'm OK with them not adapting the games. However, I do think Cavill is the wrong person for the role. He is too.... handsome? Maybe pretty. Yes, he's too pretty to be Geralt. I agree that there should be some stubble or facial hair & scars. Something to add to his face. Right now it is too chiseled. I also think Cavill physically is just too big to be Geralt. Thinking of the bathroom fight scene in MI: Fallout (and how Cavill looks as Superman), he's jacked. Not that Geralt isn't strong or muscular, but Cavill is like a bulldozer whereas Geralt should be more... ninja-esque or something.
The wig needs some work, too, although I realize this is a screen test. I've read elsewhere it has already started filming, so I'm not sure how finished this look is. The hair should be a big more grey, less white, maybe with a dark hair peppered in every now and then.
@freeryu: Really? Maybe, I guess, but there are plenty of film reviews that avoid spoilers. Also, I guess this means I can't rely on Gamespot reviews to help decide if I want to purchase a yet-to-be-released game if I want to avoid spoilers.
@Atzenkiller: now this movie is probably going to be garbage (only assuming based on DC's track record)... however, it may be an interesting take to see things from Joker's perspective, showing in a new light all of the "good guys" from his POV. Maybe he does see the Waynes to be like the Trumps, or something.
