Can you guys recommend a good racing game? Good graphics, cars, able to set-up / modify the cars, etc. I liked playing nfs carbon / midnight club before (city racing)
The flicker and the video noise only happens in start-up XMB, any ideas why? When playing, there's no problem. Even if I press and hold the PS button for the XMB to appear while playing, still no problem.emcee4321

update: It only happens in start-up xmb. Slight brightness flicker and video noise appear and disappear. But when playing, or load xmb while playing (by press and hold ps button while on the game), its all normal.. Even if I choose 720p..
I'm just thinking if it will stress the tv in any way, or whatsoever. And about the lag thing, I hope it would not happen. Coz that's the only solution that I know.
As what I've said, before I used to set it on 720p, but the problem is there's a slight flicker on the screen, and some video noise. Especially in black xmb. Like flashing backlight. When I decided to let the PS3 decide (auto-detect video settings) it resulted to 1080p and the problem is gone.
