@Dovahkyon Taste is all relative. I liked Powermonger, Populous, Black and White, The Movies and Fable. always liked his vision. does his own thing (well has the intention). gotta appreciate that.

I'd say that people who don't get why this guy is important obviously didn't grow up in the late 80s/90s. Which is fine, but he really kinda made the first RTS - powermonger...look it up

we're getting closer to that 'holodeck' experience that we want so much. I like it. Will my wife let me buy one...doubt it! haha

@Shinteikun I agree that for some people achievements are quite useless. like me. But...for some people..you know the kinds...that have to be the best and play 16 hours a day everyday...it's nice for them to have something to reflect the fact they've sacraficed everything, a job, a girlfriend, a life just to get that achievement. It's nice to have trophies. Virtual or not. :)

@FAIL_TR0LL @surferosh I have WP7.8 . I really don't understand everyones obsession with apps to be honest. 99% of the crap in the marketplace is useless anyway, innit? OK OK, so I can't download that bank app because its only for iOS/Android...big deal, navigate to the damn webpage!

One thing I REALLY like about WP 8 is that you can program it with native code ei. directX in c++. which does make it a good platform for games...if you're into that kind of thing. : )

Summary what's the difference really. 6 pack? Half a dozen?
