i guess the point i tried to make and that you completely missed was that realism doesn't matter, its the speed, action, and ultimately fun factor that sticks out for me. quietly racing along like in a forza game or a gran turismo doesn't compare to the fast paced action racing of burnout.
personally, i love the burnout franchise alot more than any other racing franchise. I admit, i haven't played paradise yet but i am anxious to pick it up as soon as i get my 360 back from microsoft (yea yea, rrod, save that for another 360-hate thread).
i know alot of people love realism and stuff like that, but the speed and action factor of burnout just can't be beat by any other racing franchise.
anyone else agree?
also, is Paradise another great addition in the franchise? let me know if i should pick it up.
fine, but I'd much rather play the REAL sport than play some game. I can't play snowboarding games anymore than are all so boring, the learners field is more fun than and snowboarding game and that's nothing compared to the rest of the mt. I just don't get what people like so much about sport games. yes they are good to play with your mates but why not just go the the park or beach with them?

because i want the simulation of real sports. i play rep hockey, but i can't just take my buddies who don't play hockey out there with me, it would be embarassing...so when i want to RELAX with the buds and play xbox, we usually end up playing a sports game.
i understand your point, what with how Call of Duty is supposed to be a war simulator or something along the lines of that, but usually realism doesn't mean fun. If it were, then people wouldn't like halo because none of those guns even exist; no one would like star wars because of the aliens and light sabers and the force (even though it could be out there...somewhere); or thousands of other games that are unrealistic.
Call of Duty 4 is still amazingly fun to me tho. :D
I am a 360 owner but i did not do this to "pwn" anyone, i was just curious and i just thought i'd put it up there. I'm not saying that this makes the 360 the best but i think the numbers speak for themselves. I'll try and update it if i'm not too lazy because No More Heroes wasn't on the wii list yet so i'll change it if there's enough interest in this thread...but i think i doubt it.
I've been playing my 360 for a while now, and recently my brother bought a ps3 and i played it a few times, and i have to say the biggest problem i had with it was the controller. It felt small in my hands, and the R2 and L2 buttons feel really weird to me compared to the xbox 360 controller. I don't know if it's just me, but has anyone else experienced this?
