"kinect is 10x more powerful than previous, a fact that is sure to make the people terrified of being spied on even more terrified" Jess, I love you! marry me? I don't have any money but I'll totally knock over some old lady and take her vintage jewelry for you xoxo
@fluffy_kins absolutely, these games were successful, well acclaimed, and well executed. The flip-side of the argument is if they'd had a budget more in line with the expected sales how much would have had to been taken away from the game and how would that have effected the final result?
Already pre-orderd mine through best buy during e3. paid with my textbook fund so now I'm going to get to enjoy older editions with suspicious stains. thanks ebay :|
-shrugs- whatever, I've pre orderd my PS4 and that'll eat up my free money for the fall so when/if I'm feeling rich enough to get an XB1 I may consider it if the kinect's gone. NO interest or use for the kinect, but mostly just dont care
The scariest thing about it was how little sense it made, seemed like the kind of game that's a lot more fun to watch someone else play while you're getting drunk :p
Samsung's growing fast in tablets against apple, I don't really want a tablet at this point (I need a proper keyboard) but all the Sammy's I've seen have been pretty impressive
Well what about this idea: a sort of ebay like service run through the console manufacturers, either as a separate site or part of PSN, XBL etc? It would run basically like ebay but only for used games and both the buyers and possibly sellers would pay a small fee ($1-5, for instance) for each transaction and that would go back to the devs. This would solve the price gouging from gamestop since it would be the seller who decides the price. I can see a few problems (Sony and MS would surely want a cut if it's hosted through their services) and there may be some contractual conflict with the retailers or something. But to me this seems a pretty fair and regulated way to give the devs back a cut of the preowned sales.
I was debating whether the earlier bit was intentional or just their social-programming-chip got stuck on “awkward laughter” then the stuff w/ the note and knives really cracked me up, silly buggers :P
