@Rickystickyman @xderosamel Yes, surely Halo 4 is a whole new world from Halo 1. Just run and shoot everything. The story itself is so thin as the gameplay. Is a great game for fans of the genre, but is nothing near innovation. Sorry, but you could have mentioned a lot other IPs but Halo, which is not from M$ itself but a 2nd party.
The key, for me, is overpower. You don't need a lot of guns and super weapons. They don't fit in a horror game. Also, cheap scares are not the main point, sometimes a simple room can be scaring and a promise of what to expect. Good art design, some mind tricks, the fact that you'll be dead if you don't watch yourself, and that your dead will be, likely, a horrible one.
There's nothing wrong with action games in the supernatural realm, but just don't try to label them like "horror" games.
So, the Bayonetta thing really hurt you, right? despite all the loses this is the one company actually making profit so stop being so resented. Wii was a huge success and unique titles were there, which are way better than having 1000 CoD. If that's all you want, you can have it anywhere, if you want something unique, you'll have to be around "this thing" as you call it. In any case, is your loss if you shut yourself to one of the more recognized names of this industry just to be "cool" and "hardcore"
That's actually a great thing, for Nintendo and the consumers, not to be tied to the only one "new generation", but to be able to choose. For Nintendo and the industry in general is great they keep creating new markets, for the consumers is a chance to try innovative things and not just "prettier" ones
Now, for Sony, they may talk undervaluing Nintendo again, as with the Wii, but they better keep a close eye or will end fourth this time...
My first Zelda was OoT and I fell instantly in love. Since then I'm glad for the Wii's VC because I have been able to play the oldest titles and replay the N64 titles. I have loved every one and I'm hoping for a brand new title for 3DS and Wii U soon! BTW, I really don't think this guy made a great job on his video, he seems like not having the proper foundations to talk seriously about the series
A new PS at this moment, or the next year in any case, will be around 500 to 600usd again, as the PS3 was. Next Xbox will need to be at that range of prices (450 at least) to compete with the PS4. I still think Nintendo can launch Wii U at a very competitive price and keep the momentum for a long time, as long as they keep attracting 3rd parties with great games and delivering more content than just games this time
What a bunch of haters in this thread. I can't get all of these people who don't like a game or even a genre and like to flood these threads. Just don't buy it, Nintendo and others surely will take note...
