[QUOTE="erglesmergle"]How else do you judge quality without scores?Which system offers exclusives with the quality that an exclusive game should have, not multiplatform quality games sold as exclusives? Not going by scores either.

Just by playing it. Realizing the games budget. And looking at the way the developers took advantage of the technology. You could rate any of the top PS3 exclusives a 7 or lower but that still wouldnt change the fact that theyre games of exclusive quality.

[QUOTE="Ravensmash"] No it doesn't. Someone post the metacritic/gamespot spreadsheets with 360 in the lead. Metacritic one shows 360 has more exclusives rated above 75 or something.CaseyWegner
Yeah but thats just going by score. And the Xbox 360 still loses.
Im talking about actual quality, not score. For example, God of War 3 and Killzone 2 have the quality you would expect from a game exclusive to one console. Gears of War 2 and Halo 3 have the quality of a multiplatform game but theyre sold as Xbox 360 exclusives, meaning they could have been done on the PS3 just as easily in the same amount of time. They all got AAA scores but not all are exclusive material. An example of an exclusive Xbox 360 title with the quality of an exclusive game would be Alan Wake.
and what qualifies you to make such a statement?
Just common sense.
Hopefully not. Rising is going to be crippled by the 360 just like how FF13 was and its just going to be a little side story of Raiden. MGS5 is likely going to be a full blown MGS game with the cutscenes and everything. It'd probably take like 10 DVDs and Konami, likely to be wanting to save on costs will ask Kojima to cripple the game so it can fit on 1-2 DVDs to avoid royalty fees.
They should just make the actual MGS5 game that Kojima envisions on Blu-Ray for the PS3. In a few months, start an Xbox 360 team after MGS5s release and develop MGS5 for the Xbox 360 in episodes. Release 1 episode for $29.99. Just milk the hell out of 360 owners. It would probably work too. HAHAAHAHH.
[QUOTE="ThePsTriple"]Duh, ps3 has the higher quality exclusives, quite funny considering the ps3 "has no gamez" ha!RavensmashNo it doesn't. Someone post the metacritic/gamespot spreadsheets with 360 in the lead. Metacritic one shows 360 has more exclusives rated above 75 or something.

not sure about the 4850 or the open box?flyingsnail
i wouldnt know but, this is what i know. the 4850 is a good card. most people who buy 4850s know the card is good before buying it. people return them for a reason. newegg does not test open boxes. so be careful.

But their technology is roughly equal. It lost a poll, boo hoo? Cows are the most defensive people on this forum. The site is full of cows that are embarassed that Sony is in last place this gen, and act out like they have something to prove. There is nothing to prove that the Xbox360 cannot do what the PS3 can. Gears of War 3, Rage, and Crysis 2 will prove you wrong. I didn't say they'll look better, but at the least they will look just as good. You cannot prove me wrong, nobody on here can say they know the potential of the Xbox, and so far things are going in my favor.
PAL360
The poll proved you wrong. Why does everything have to be cows and lemming for you? 80% of the voters agreed that PS3 exclusives look better than Xbox 360 exclusives. And at that time, which was just 3 months ago, no console multiplat looked better than Uncharted 2 (commonly accepted fact), and by that logic, the PS3 had the best looking game, probably Uncharted 2.
Its only natural for games like Gears 3, Crysis 2, and Rage to look better than Uncharted 2 since graphics get better over time. You make it seem like Uncharted 2 is the peak of the PS3 and since these newer multiplats look as good as Uncharted 2, the 360 and the PS3 are equal. If we follow the pattern, Uncharted 3 will probably come out and look better than those games. And youre forgetting about Killzone 3.
You are the true definition of a fanboy. Disregarding facts and majority vote.
Dude, 99% of posters dont really know what they are talking about. Most opinions are biased here and it´s pretty obvious when the best proof PS3 owners have in favour of PS3 graphics are 2 games that dont even have a version on 360 to compare with :?
99% of posters have eyes and opinions. There are more than just 2 exclusives that look better than anything the 360 has to offer.
Demos help us determine whether or not the game is good for us or not.
You may not like Split Second but someone may like it.

It can still be a bad thing. Ive demoed a few games that I would have bought but decided not to because I played the demo.
