Your opinion is noted but that does not make it fact. You might want to check your facts about startcraft
You're against bots but how about people complaining that they want to learn how to fly ingame or practice offline without others on the server; you can see their comments on this very page.
Also I do recall DICE promising all new multiplayer maps for BF3 would be free to all. They then flip flopped and started charging for them.
You two need to to wake up and go do your research if you don't want BF4 to repeat the simcity debacle.
DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PASSWORDS UNTIL THEY FIX THE SECURITY LOOP HOLE OR YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE HANDING IT OUT.
More than likely they didn't secure their database or their website, I'll say they didn't secure their database, because even if a users password gets figured out they shouldn't have full access to the database or database cmds, they should only have access to their content within the database..
DICE 'very interested' in Battlefield 4 eSports"....
To the blind and deaf of DICE, that ain't gonna happen with your policies screwing your customer base with DRM, DLC, no bots, no offline, no LAN, no mods, and no user servers.
Point and Case Starcraft 1 versus Starcraft 2.
And lying for your EA overlords will not help if you haven't figured that out from the last BF3 and simcity PR storms.
All I can say to Larry Probst is: Start fixing your bad business practices NOW before your next big releases go out the door. Larry don't wait around for the next guy to fix EA's problems, start fixing them NOW!
Also f**k EA's and devs "Artistic vision" of screwing your customers, you need to return to giving your paying customers good quality content complete games with all the features they expect.
If EA continues to be hostile towards their paying customers through it's cutting of content and features for it's own greed you are going to run out of goodwill this generation and there is no coming back from that.
Forcing always online onto your customers is DRM. He'll be flip flopping when BF4 comes out justifying again why there's no offline, no user servers, and why there's a need for DRM in their shitty reskin of BF3 with direct X 11 after effects.
BF4: The Micro Transaction: singleplayer Is the follow up of last years BF3: The this DLC map pack isn't a map pack so we are gonna charge you for it even though we said all maps would be free edition.....
The one thing we told DICE we didn't want, Yet here they are slapping us in the face with it again.
