Tormentos is always using double standards in every forum he posts in. I've already given up trying to talk some sense into him cause he won't listen to anything that opposes his arguments.

Personally, i don't give a damm about the discussion wich platform/service is better.

I like PS3, I like Xbox360, I like Wii, I like PSP, I like (3)DS(i)(XL), I like PC. People should buy what they want without constantly bashing the opposing platforms.

Absolutely true, how can tormentos even mention the fact that PSN content is free while he has to pay 50 bucks just to rent it.

Basicly XBL gold and PSN plus are almost the same services. On XBL gold you pay for online play and get the other benefits with it (downloads, demos, free/discount games), and on PSN plus you pay for the benefits but you have free online play. All comes down to the exact same thing.

So again tormentos, how can you say that XBL gold is a ripoff, while PSN plus is the same. You can't have it both ways you know. Either their both ripoffs or their both not. Lol, if you keep on digging that hole you made for yourself tormentos, you'll end up on the other side of the planet, haha.

It will depend on what kind of games there will be on the PS Vita. I have been a Nintendo fan for many years, but when i compare the 3DS with the PS Vita i think i'll only buy the PS Vita this time around.

Off course harcore MS fanboy's will never get the PS Vita, but the mainstream Xbox360 gamer will definetly be interested in the PS Vita. Especcially when the graphics and functions are close to what their used to on the Xbox360.

And Sony did NOT take losses with the PSP. Some people seem to assume that they did simply because Nintendo "beat" them with the DS, but Sony did profit, quite a bit, off of the PSP.

The $250 price tag is pretty ridiculous, for $50 more you could get a 360 or a PS3, both of which have more powerful technology, more features, better libraries etc. They should at least have a good bundle available... If it was $250 for the system plus OoT, that would be a much more attractive option...

Lol, why are you comparing the price and technology of a portable/handheld system with home consoles. First of all, making technology that's small enough to fit into a portable system costs more than making it does for the bigger home consoles. Secondly, you are comparing the price of new technology (3DS) to the price of systems wich have been on the market for over 4/5 years and therefore dropped in price lots of times already.

If i recall the PSP started at a price of 250/300 too. I assume you did find that price ridiculous too, cause if you didn't then it would mean that you're bias.

To awnser the main topic though, for me the 3DS's library isn't strong enough to warrent a purchase just yet. I'll wait until there are some more good games woth playing for me, like Cave man, Star Fox 64, Resident Evil, Mario, Kid Icarus, etc. And if theres a price drop or new version of the system in the meantime than that's just a bonus.
