He's referring to the Gamestop PowerUp rewards. And it's a preowned copy they're offering.

If you're not comfortable buying prewowned, then just get a new copy. Either way, the game is worth more than its' price tag.

Thanks for the heads-up. Can't wait to try it out.

I tried that as well. I had an image already downscaled to the Vita's native resolution, and it was still a bit choppy. I'm hoping for a firmware update to fix this, but we'll see.

That's quite cheap considering all the things you're getting for it. Just keep in mind that it IS used. If you find any problems with the Vita that you're not satisfied with, send it back and demand a refund.

Well, that's not exactly what I mean. I mean two things:

1. Some images that I download will display when viewed while connected to the PC, but not from the PS Vita (it shows as "?"), while others (at similar resolutions and the same format) will?

Not sure where the problem lies in that image, but the Vita supports JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and PNG image files. Check if the image type is supported on the Vita.

2. I have several images resized to the PS Vita's native res (960x544) to be set as background. Yet, when I do so, some parts of the images look like they've been compressed/blocky. How do I get this to go away?

As far as I know, there's nothing you can do to fix the compressed image when it is set as a background. It's rather annoying.

It's not so bad. Probably because I developed a habit of downloading off of PSN during night, and set the PS3 to automatically shut down until the download is complete. Next day, just install.

I used to listen to them until my cousin's over obsessiveness with them killed it for me.

Out of the two, VII just because of the whole Materia thing.

But IV is better.

By all means, go ahead and buy it. If the clear case is enough protection for you, then purchase a soft pouch.
