I apologize, but I found out something about that case I recommended. Apparantly, the case has a strange odor. Kotaku describes it as, "a combination of cigarettes and something minty."

I didn't see the article before I made the suggestion, so just know what you're buying.

So would that mean my ps3 trophies show up on my vita and vis versa, or does it have seperate trophy lists for each system?

blueboxdoctor

Yes, your PS3 trophies will show up on the Vita, but I don't think you can see your Vita trophies on the PS3. Even if it's not shown on the PS3, your Vita trophies still count, just to clarify.

XSEED and Atlus are well-known for localizing rather obscure titles to the West, and I applaude them for their work. I'm just curious as to why XSEED decided to drop both Vanillaware titles. I'm sure they have their reasons, but they're passing up a stellar oppurtunity.

Slashkice

Grand Knight's History was dropped because Vanillaware is just too busy with Dragon's Crown. And Dragon's Crown was in the hands of Ignition, not XSEED, before it switched over to Atlus.

Ohhh right, it was Ignition. My bad. I thought they both titles were in the hands of XSEED. Regardless, I want Dragon's Crown.

Your preferences are a bit hard for me to follow, so I'll just show you to a thread that showcases the upcoming Vita titles.

If none of the games listed on that thread interest you, then don't take the plunge yet. It's really what you can justify as a purchase. For me, the upcoming games catered to my taste, so I bought the handheld. For some people, the games don't call to them, so they don't buy it. So, take a look at the list, and see if any of the upcoming games reach out to you.

The WiFi model does exactly that. You can use your WiFi network to connect the Vita.

As the Vita stands right now, I wouldn't recommend the Vita for everybody. If you can wait, I suggest you buy the Assassin's Creed Bundle. By then, the Vita should have enough software to justify a purchase for most gamers.

Sorry about that, I just re-read my preferences and I didn't realize how jumbled it is. Just to clear it up, I'm interested in WRPGs, action/adventure, shooters, and maybe a racing game or two.

Thanks for the link, I just wish there were less ports/multi-platform games and more exclusives (well, there are a lot, but more that I'm interested in). Still, it's only been out for a few months, so I'm giving it some time, and AC (if it doesn't have any major bugs or anything of the sort) looks like it'll be the adventure game to keep me glued to the screen due to a new protagonist and setting.

Also, this isn't really a major thing but it would be cool to have, does the Vita have trophies for games?

I'm not sure about any WRPGs that are coming to the Vita yet. Action/Adventure, of course, Uncharted. There's also the newly released Gravity Rush, so take a look at that as it is a brand new IP. Shooting games, there's Resistence. And racing games, there's Wipeout, which is really impressive.

And yes, the Vita games do have trophies. Whatever PSN you're using right now, you can use on the Vita. Just remember that you can only use one PSN account on a Vita.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Tactics Ogre.

Are you referring to this clear case?

If so, it doesn't seem to bulk up the Vita's dimensions too much, so it should fit.
