So as of late I have been screwing around with two of the best photo editing apps out there Gimp and Photoshop (and Paint ofcourse:P)

Stalker is definitely one of the most entertaining games I'v played in a while, the atmosphere of the game is undeniably one of the best I'v ever seen and felt in a game and the story and plot is really good. But.... yes there is a but sadly the gaming experience is brought down by the fact that in their attempt to make a realistic combat system they have failed utterly making the game not that good, the combat system can be explained with one word: BROKEN. I'm convinced that had they managed to make the combat system better this would easily been game of the year on the PC:)

One thing I hate about my new rig is that none of the good old games work on it, Epic Final Liberation, Rites of War and Chaos Gate:( luckily the first decade pack from EA fixed this problem with the old C&C games:D I still play them on occasions:)

WAR IS COMING FALL 2007

So finally it's weekend:) This week has been anything but ordinary:shock:

 First of all this week we had a mandatory work week and since I'm studying electronics I worked at an computer- and AV repair-shop :D and if I'm lucky I'll get a summer job there this summer:) And man that is the most laid-back work environment I'v ever been part of:P lots of silly people working there:P

And to top it off yesterday I got promoted to leader of the RTS gamers union:) temporary I might add:P And don't worry Sharvie I'll take good care of your union in your absence:D This also means I'm no longer a Captain of the RTSGU:( I miss my rank already:P

 I also bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for a friend (and installed it on my PC:P) and it's easily the most interesting game I've played in a while:)

Well 2007 looks like it's going to be a very good year for gaming especially for the MMO,RTS and RPG genres with titles like Warhammer online and Age of Conan. And 2007 is really going to be an RTS year with SupCom already out C&C3 on it's way so is EE3(let's cross our fingers for that one):) and War Front and last but not least RPG with Bioshock, Mass Effect, Hellgate, Shivering isle(for those of you who liked Oblivion) and an expansion for Titan Quest:)

Is it just me or is all the really fun factors of gaming going down the toilet(story, re-playability, blood and dark humour, etc.) just so all the mindless graphic idiots will buy more games.:cry:

Seems like its all about the graphics these day, and just screw the rest of the gaming experience:evil:
