Dead Money

So right now I'm currently sitting at home after work wait for the PSN store to be updated so I can buy Dead Money for Fallout: New Vegas. I've already played a small protion of it and it was pretty challenging but had a pretty great story, the only real reason I'm getting it is for the level increase, weapons, trophies and the story :P

UPDATE: 4:1 P.M: Still nothing....

Dead Money... literally...

Actual deffintion of the Poker term "Dead money": The amount of money in the pot other than the equal amounts bet by active remaining players in that pot. Examples of dead money include money contributed to the pot by players who have folded, a dead blind posted by a player returning to a game after missing blinds, or an odd chip left in the pot from a previous deal

Bulletstorm demo

I've recently picked up a hobby, playing the Bulletstorm demo. :P

I never was really excited about it until I played the demo. Never in my life have I ever laughed so hard at a guy with bombs strapped fly off the side ofa walkway just to be blown up. This game is going to be a must buy for me. If you are looking for a bit of fun for about a hour go download the demo on XBL Marketplace or the PSN Store today!

^This is what you will be doing every five seconds to enemies

Activision: The worst thing to ever happen to Call of Duty.

As alot of you have heard, the new Black Ops map pack, "First Strike" will be a shocking 15 dollars. I had hopes that all of the BS surrounding Modern Warfare 2 (More like Glitchy Campefare 2) would be gone, but today I lost all hope. 15 dollars for 4 news maps and one new Zombie map. This of course is Activision, I can't see Treyarc doing this because, World at War maps packs had the same content (4 maps with one new Zombie map) but only for 9.99. Not to mention it is a TIMED exclusive for the Xbox 360. This is where Microsoft comes in, yet again they pay out the ass for a exclusive that will actualy hurt the company in the long run by alienating a large section of their customers. Activision killed Infinity Ward, now they will kill Treyarc. If **** like this keeps up, I'm considering never buying another Call of Duty/Activisiongame for the rest of my life.

My PS3 hard drive crashed :(

Earlier today I left to go eat, I turned off my PS3 using the switch on the back. When I get back home the intro will happen but nothing past that. So I spend a hour looking for a fix, another 15 minutes to find how to access the menu and another hour to get it to work. At first I started looking around, apperently my hard drive was corrupt so I had to wipe it. Now my objective was to find the menu it took a whole 10 minutes to get it up and then it told me to connect the controller with a USB and press the PS button. It took 5 USB cord to take me to the menu then I couldn't select anything because the controller was ****ed up, so I had to find a new controller which took a whole 5 minutes and then I got it to work and it had to do the wipe twice but I kept all my saves, music and videos.

So yeah, it was a epic ride.

That is exactly what I wanted to do^^

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

I recently bought the new Red Dead Redemption DLC. Undead Nightmare. Its worth you money. Trust me, this game is worth more than 9.99, but thank god Rockstar was so generous to let us have it for only that much. This new DLC is so fun and wacky that I nearly stayed up all night playing it. One of the best new features was the "Four Horses of the Apacalypse" which are War, Famine, Pestelince and Death. Each have there own special look and War and Death have special power. War's power is the ability to catch people on fire just by stepping on them. Death causes Zombies heads to explode upon contact. There are also 3 new wepons, ehcih include a Blunderbuss, Holy Water, and Zombie Bait (With a Boom Bait varient). Sereiously if you want to play a fun game for along weekend, buy this. It is very much worth you're money.

The Wanderer

Ruin's around Washington D.C.

Today I saw sunlight for the first time in 12 years. I have lived my entire life inside a Vault. Vault 112 . I stumbled upon 112 when I was only 8 years old. But I'm getting ahead of myself, let me start from the begging. My father was a hunter he met my mom after he killed a Deathclaw that was about to kill her. That night they made me, nine long months later I was born. My earliest memory is when my father told me this story when I was only 2 years old, the night the raiders came. I woke in the middle of the night and walked out of my tent to see a group of raiders around my mother and father. They then shot them and killed them. A woman in the group saw me and decided to take me into the group, she was the leader of the group and my new mother. They raised me like everyone else they trained me, thought me how to kill, to hunt.

One night 8 years later I was sitting around the camp fire, one of the raiders, James, came running back to the camp screaming something about Regulators coming for them. I panicked and ran towards my tent but fell over in all of the commotion and hit my head on a rock and passed out. I woke up to see the sun rising over the desert rocks. The raiders were all dead. I looked around I saw everyone of them dead. The only one I didn't notice among the bodies was James. He must have escaped into the night, perhaps he is still out there wondering the same thing. After that night I didn't know what to do so I began to wonder the surrounding are until I found Smith Casey's Garage. I decided to spend the night here, when I entered the room smelled like death and that's what it was. There was dead man laying on the mattress, I became scared and ran down the stairs in the basement in a hail of confusion. That's where I found Vault 112. That's where I would spend my next 12 years. Little did I know the world would be drastically different than when I entered my new home.

I entered Vault 112 with no hesitation, as soon as I opened the door a kindly robot greeted me and though I was one of the original vault dwellers. He handed me a jumpsuit and told me to get into my pod. "My pod?" I thought to myself. The robot showed me the way to my pod and I sat down. Suddenly I was transported to a pre-war time, a somewhat more peaceful time. I finally felt at ease. There was some kind of white substance on the ground that seemed to melt when I picked it up. I was then called over by a odd sounding man. He asked my name and I couldn't really remember after I hit my head a lot of my long term memory had vaporized and I couldn't figure it out so he said that he'll just call me "Wanderer". Over the years me and my new friend Braun became friends, he explained the Great War to me, mutations, and the Vault experiments. He thought me how to kill, how to shoot. Over time he said he would release me when I was ready to see the real world again. One day I woke up and Braun was over my bed and said only 3 words, "time to leave" we both agreed it was time. He unhooked me from the simulation. I tried to stand up right after getting out of the pod but fell over. One of the robots came up to me and extended his arm. I grabbed it and he pulled up and I slung my arms over his cold metal shoulders. They treated me until I was ready to leave. They gave me a PiPBOY 3000A, a R91 Assault Rifle, a set of Combat Armor, some Stimpaks, and what is apparently currency on the surface. I dressed myself loaded my gun and walked out from the large vault door and never looked back.

Now this is where the real story begins. I opened the door leaving Smith Casey's behind me, the sunlight burned my eyes. The burst of light filled my view, the smoke cleared and I saw the sun rising over the mountains as I did on that same night 12 years ago. I walked north for awhile until I came upon a group of roaming traders, I decided to travel with them for awhile because I could provide good protection for the rest of the group. I asked them where we were headed they said that we we're headed towards D.C so we could trade with the Brotherhood of Steel. I had two questions, why the hell would anyone want to go anywhere near D.C and what was the Brotherhood Of Steel. The caravan driver asked where had I been for the past 3 years. I replied with "Underground" which was good enough for the caravan driver. I doubted this "Brotherhood" could ever fix D.C. How wrong I was. When we arrived at the "Citadel" I was amazed. I had honestly thought that the worse part of a post-apocalypse was over. Yet again how wrong I was. I gather info from the people at the Citadel about what they were hoping to accomplish in the wasteland. I had also asked them where I could stay for the night and they recommended that I go to Rivet City and then to come back in the morning as they might have something for me to do. It was around 3PM when I arrived at Rivet City I had passed by a building with some scientist type people outside of the building. I approached the bridge but was forced to talk to a gruff, leading man that asked what my business in Rivet City was, I stated that I was looking for a place to stay for the night. He allowed me entry to the city, I hung around the marketplace for until about 9PM then I went to go find my room. I had a footlocker and a navy cot in a room shared with 10 different people.

The next morning I arrived at the Citadel with open arms, they told me that they had a job for me to do and if I wanted it I could have it. They simply wanted me to scourge the ruins for a place called The Jefferson Memorial. I was told to search around Rivet City. Easy enough, I started at Rivet City and asked around. I finally got my break when one person in the city is was just down the road from Rivet. I went down there to find people and scientific equipment. I told them I was asked by the Brotherhood to find them. They gave me a letter to return to Elder Lyons at once. I spent the night in the memorial and then went to the Citadel in the morning to give to Lyons the letter. When the asked for my name I simply replied "The Wanderer" and walked out into blazing sunlight. I returned to the Citadel with good news, but they weren't that happy on my way back a group of Super Mutants attacked the Citadel and they had lost 10 Brothers in battle, I told them that I shouldn't car because I wasn't in their group, to which Elder Lyons said guess again, initiate. Before I was brought into the Brotherhood they asked for my name, I stated my life's story and why I did not remember my name so they decided that I should be crowned Knight Brother.

Guard duty again, great. We haven't had a Super Mutant attack in almost 3 months. I found this in my footlocker so I decided to begin writing it again. Today there is some kind of commotion going on inside the memorial, apparently a baby is being born, wonderful, now I will probably never see fresh water.
