mini games are cool, i think i am going to get mario party 8 when it comes out. monkey ball from the game cube gives me nightmares. i hated the nurses on trauma center for the DS. Super paper mario and mario galaxy look awsome and i know i will get those. airplane games ehh i don't know. metroid prime 3 i might get, definately if it has online multiplayer. Smash bros confuses me though, how does a side scrolling fighter work with the wii mote? love smash bros though.
I got a wii today, I went to walmart to buy a printer and there where a stack of 6 wii's. Well i thought what the heck might as well get one they say they are really fun, plus they will probly be gone later. so i got one and brought it home. I've played wii sports for a bit and that was fun but now i am wondering what now. do i buy a game? there doesn't seem many out to thrill me, already beat zelda.... I am not going to sell it or take it back because I know it will soon have good games. I made the mistake of selling my game cube after a few months when i first got it because there where no good games, only to buy it again later. Should i just be happy with wii sports till a good game comes out? what good games are comeing out? what about good games to rent, i rented for a month or two with my 360 before i ever got a game.
P.S. is the wii suposed to get internet multiplayer at some future date like the DS?
First time I got my DS the fat ugly one, it was the yoshi game. I had it a few months then it fell off the coffee table and busted the top screen ( a strangely small and light fall). traded all the games in for a 360. So I did not get another till last weekend (lite, black). so the 2nd first time i got FFIII and NSMB.
I agree with what you say about cult following, but theres got to be enough mech lovers out there with all the armor cores and gundums to give the game a little love. There are some die hard mechwarrior fans who hate the mechassault games, but i bet they would try out a good one. has to have great multiplayer and big maps, maybe a little customization, at least mw4 level.
I was just curious if there was going to be a mechassault 3? Microsoft owns the rights to the mechwarrior games and i know they are not planning on MW5 any time soon, if ever.. I just don't want the battletech videogames to die out. Maybe they will milk a little money out of it for the 360. Mechassault 3 would be better than haveing no battletech games at all.
Thanks for the help, I think I will wait till at least this summer then to get one and see what games are comeing out. Everyones opinions helped. I have never played one but it looks fun, i can never find a working one to try out in any store near me. Also, for the guy who said that I did not sound like i had a wife and child, how do I sound like I don't have a wife and child? I am a husband and parent while still being a little young, i'm 24, my faimly just plays video games. Your comment about the VC is true, the classics would be good for my son, I don't let him play any of the violent bloody M games we have today. I play games like gears of war and COD3 after he goes to bed, i love multiplayer.
I have always been a nintendo fan, and I own a game cube. I have been listening to everyone talk about how cool the Wii is and its got me thinking maybe i want one. I can not see anything that I would really like to play on the wii right now except super paper mario. I also already own all the cross platform games on my 360 so those games are out because i am not buying two of the same game. Wii sports looks cool and so does Wii play but those alone I don't know if i would put out the money for a wii. I have the new zelda game on game cube also. I kind of want to get a wii but I do not want to just let it sit around collecting dust. I am not a huge gamer because I have college and a faimly but my wife and son like to play games as much as I do. If anyone thinks of a good reason to buy it now, i might do that, or maybe I should wait awhile on it. It would help to know if it will have games my son may like to play, as he plays alot of game cube. He's five, but kind of good at games he's beaten a few of the games we have on game cube like lego starwars 1 and 2, sonic heros, and super smash bros. I just don't want to impulse buy and have buyers regret.
