[QUOTE="locopatho"] It wasn't perfect but barring some frame rate hitches I played loads of Xbox original games on it. All PS3s have PS1 games and it did have PS2 for years. PS3 stripping it out and selling PS3 HD remakes is what started the trend I think :(cakeorrdeath
I believe the emotion engine was taken out pretty early actually. Outside of the US I don't think it had it at all.

Obviously Japan had it also...

lol TLHBO. PS3 better textures and framerate during gameplay. No wonder they show ps3 version and hide 360. Tough year for lems.Mr-Kutaragi

Jeez you blind? 360 version is superior when it comes to framerate and that was the only reason I bought it for my 360 over my PS3 which is the case almost every time when it comes to the multiplats on both systems.

Sigh, fanboys.

[QUOTE="eyebrows"]

What some of you have conveniently missed out on the Digital Foundry comparison is they seem to have put the fact the 360 out-performs the PS3 version throughout the entire game by an average of 2fps more as less important than random slightly sharper ground textures (wtf?). I pre-ordered the 360 version because just like 90% of ALL multiplats I knew the 360 version would have a superior framerate as when playing on out-dated hardware such as a 360 or PS3, I personally don't care about small things like textures on the ground at random events vs a consistently higher framerate and for that alone the 360 version is superior.

Perhaps, you might want to go back and re-read that article... It was the PS3 with the sharper ground texters; Not the 360...

Another sad Lem, wanting to "see" what they want to "see"...:(

Wow, go back and re-read what you quoted me you FOOL!

With all the power available to them (and the fact Driveclub doesn't even look that impressive compared to its competition), there is no real excuse not to run a next-gen racing game at 60fps.

I myself, am not bothered since a) I will get the free version of Driveclub (don't honestly care what they take out) via PS+ and b) I managed to get hold of the limited edition Xbox One bundle with a FREE copy of Forza 5.

WIN.

I had one of those 4gb or w/e Xbox slims once upon a time, and even then I never got close to using the full 4gb, not even close.

32gb is more than enough for someone like myself.  I can't fathom why someone would need a 120gb console or something.  I don't even think I have that much stuff stored on my laptop.

Jeez what an idiot you are. Downloaded games, installing games to the HDD to reduce load-times, not reading discs as much, noise reduction, music, movies etc.?

Out of the many consoles that I have collected over the years, I will probably go with the original PS3. Take your pick depending on colour preference:

The PS4 will go nicely with my setup as it looks gorgeous.
