The Introductions

Something struck me the other day, as I was tapping away at the keys, looking at my facebook avatar, (and Fezzes ARE cool, by the way.) Almost everything I was posting on Facebook was about the latest game I was playing, and all of the Pics on my top banner were Little Big Planet 2 screenshots. I don't like putting up much on the web. Privacy, I told myself. Too hard to take down. I hardly talk about actual things happening on Facebook. I'd seen too many premature facebook break-ups (those ones that last less than 24 hours), far too many fishing for support updates, hell, even with myself, bantering insults from an ex-girl-friend from over a decade ago, that has yet to realise the jokes are old and tired. I'd never really even been an online gamer, until recently. Little Big Planet 2 (again) caused that change, since I wanted to play other peoples levels, and hadn't bothered to go online for LBP1. I'd built some levels, and wanted the damn Platinum Trophy. The near 4 million plus levels had also called out to me, like a siren, and although I discovered too many dance-clubs and chasing sharks levels, I found it to be good. These were actually the first times I'd played anything online, let alone with anyone else, excluding a few Yahoo Chess games, some time back in 2001. Anyway, the chase for the LBP2 platinum trophy had started something, and it seems to be far too much to spam my Facebook account with. This year, I'd formed a few opinions that I've consideried worth on sharing. Achievements vs Trophies, Gamescores, the trend to have to collect useless hidden items to say you have completed something, and who knows what else I'll have the urge to write about. So, perhaps, we are stuck with each other, for a time. Hopefully we'll get along. Either way, it's your misfortune, and none of my own. Sincere as I'll ever be, Far Corners.

Just a bit more about the systems I have. BOTH 360 and PS3. (no favorite) Fairly average PC with no recent games. Nothing by NINTENDO since the Super Nintendo.
