@groowagon: Well I play at 1440p with 144Hz G-Sync monitor and if the 35% is accurate for the Ti being that much faster. You would see why I am saying that especially when playing at max settings. You are only at 1080p that is nothing for a 970.

GTX 1080 is still not slouch BUT games will get more demanding this year as we go especially when playing at high resolutions max settings.

GTX 1080 outdated in 9 months. Titan X even less. Let that sink in. This is why console gaming is not going any where. Even this newer Ti could POSSIBLY be outdated even this year by Volta. Still keeping and like my 1080 FE have had it since launch.
