cost wise its much cheaper to upgrade a ps3 drive as opposed to a 360 due to the ps3 allowing third party drives to fit without having to hack your console. i do believe the 360 also has a limit cap on the drives available space. 120 atm i think. even if you put a 250 drive in your xbox it can still only use 120.

with games getting bigger and films and software becoming more prevailent through DLC, I`d go ps3. you are then merely limited by the latest tech.

bought the orange box with intention of completing hl2 coz i loved 1 so much.

got around 3 or 4 hours in then realised how crap this was on the ps3.

also, some DLC is priced at like 99p or 3.99, but you have to put a MINIMUM of £5 on your wallet on the UK PSN.

thus tempting you to spend that little extra usualy on cheap DLC that should have been included in the game.

just checked games website and they are selling it at 55 with 10 off.

as game usualy sells new released games with this 10 off you STILL are paying 10 more than you normaly would.

my main point is not that i cud get it elsewhere cheaper. Lots of people cant for whatever reason and may have to pay full price. and that full £55 price tag sucks.

if all games started going up by £10, in no time all used and pre-owned titles would raise thier prices exponentialy(?) to this. and as a gamer we all would end up paying more for games.

i think some dev`s hold onto maps, content etc so it can be released after for extra £££.

90% of addon dlc should be included or free as a patch.

ofc some is well worth it ie wipeout fury expansion.

some is pure bow locks. ie super stardust xtra play modes.
