@Tripwolf Although I agree with you I have to say The Hulk and Iron Man are pretty bad ass. Although even then The Hulk is the only other DC guy I like apart from Catwoman (Halle Berry film excluded) and The Joker. Oh and Killer Croc. That's...pretty much it. But then like you said Batman pretty much is DC.

@JTrockin Yeah it's pretty much like high school bullies. The best way to deal with them is usually just to ignore them and move on. I mean sure if it gets too far do what you must. But you're right though. I think it's just more of a venting thing and making a point in these articles than anything. Hehe, yeah good point and we all know where censoring would get us.
@JTrockin You're right and I absolutely agree. In fact the world itself is very much like that. The internet is just pretty much another form of seeing it but that's just how people react. It doesn't excuse it from happening though you do have a point and for the most part it is just best to ignore it and move on. Sometimes though it is a good idea to point it out to help the rest of us learn what not to do. Those of us who are more mature and care that is.
I am absolutely appauled by this. This isn't some high school playground where we lash out at people because we think their idea is stupid. For starters what she is suggesting is not a game without any combat but THE OPTION of having the ability of SKIPPING the combat. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what she suggested nor do I feel more options in a game of any form are a bad idea. If you don't like the idea there's about a million other games you might want to try before lashing out like some angry child and having a tantrum over something that really had no call for it. Yes we are the customers, yes we buy the game and have all the rights to play it. But here's the thing; it really does not belong to us. That is to say we didn't make it. We purchased it for the right to play it. The company/creators decide what they want to do with it and if you don't like it then play something else. Seriously no one is forcing you to buy anything. And worst case scenario if you still can't handle things and the way things work with games and anything other form of media for that matter well you could always stop playing them/watching them. But that's not going to happen, now is it?
Part of the humor in Duke Nukem has always been controversial. What annoys me is suddenly, twelve (or more) years later the game's suddenly targeted now that games are more noticed. I personally believe there's MUCH worse than this out there and yet somehow it's apparently acceptable.
