oh, so it is tottaly okay to depict exesively muscular, overmasculinised 4metrewide back and pecs, barely clothed men, but oh no sir, you cant put large bewbs on women becasue it sexist.
@jewell21: U kidding? Just equip the heaviest armor set you've got, the biggest sword you've got, and pummel the heck out of them. takes like 3 mins to kill them.
@deadkingdg: never said it was the biggest game ever, just saying that is is huge. It has lots of areas, cities, caves, places, etc. And yes, I agree with you, detail heavy games tend to turn a lot to the linear side of things, which would in my opinion kill FFVII. An man, now that you mention it, I'd love to see some FFVIII on this level of detail. I loved FVIII, in spite of being kind of the black sheep of FFs.
Well, to be fair, FFVII is a HOMUNGUS, ENORMOUS, CICLOPEAN game. Making it look detailed and beautifull is certainly a titanic task. I'm ok with it being released on mild dosage, as long as there is some sort of true continuity in character progession between its parts. As in, loading a saved file from part 1 into part 2 and keeping your charcter's level, items, materia, etc. After all, it is an RPG, it has hidden treasures, some very complex secrets, the golden chocobo bit. It would suck if you get to play the last episode, and all your character are given all items and rare high level materia. And sort of just play a freaking dull movie.
@verysalt: You don't need to spend 700k on anything. Just need to slide some sliders to the left and uncheck some checkboxes. IT would habe been great that they gave PC players a chance to play with the real MAX specs, and keep it med-low for console players. No need to put all releases in the same sack.
@verysalt: Its a distopian year 2077. chances are, most of it will happen in dark big cities. Not much place for events happening in large fields and foretst mate, but have hope, it will be done by good hands.
