No problems before at all. And yes windows 7 is installed on it. I just got a new mobo/cpu/gpu and RAM today and replaced all my old components with those new ones. So everything I had is still on that HDD.

It was set to AHCI in the bios but I did change it to IDE prior to posting and it didnt make a difference whether it was on IDE or AHCI, the logo refreshed itself constantly regardless.
Here is my HDD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185
And here is my MOBO

The motherboard logo appears first, which lets me enter the bios. However if I let the logo load it goes to a black screen then the logo appears again. It will repeat this over and over.
My HDD is detected in the BIOS and is first in the load order.
steam ran a really nice special where if you bought borderlands for 5.99 you got 10% off borderlands 2. 10% of 60 is 6 bucks so essentially a free copy of borderlands 1. then you also got the first DLC free.
I preinstalled the game a few days ago when they let us, but I havent played it today at all for fear of not being able to return it.
I sent Steam support a request for a refund last night and i got a confirmation email that it was received, again this was on 9/17/12.
Their policy on preorder refunds state that "An exception is made for games purchased during a pre-order period if the request is received prior to the games' release date." As seen here https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8360-WEJC-2625#refund
My question is how do you interpret this? Must they agree to the refund and reply to me BEFORE the release date, or am I infact going to get a refund because they "received" my refund request but havent processed/read it yet?
sick of the BIASED opinions, the fanboys, and the haters. please lord just give me an honest to god answer.
My wife likes watching netflix on the TV, and I dont always like what she watches so ill sit down and play some games. However the problem is all the sound either comes out my speakers, or the tv.
Is there any way to have each screen put its own sound out, so she can watch her netflix (and hear it) and i can play/listen to my games at the same time?
try to pawn it off on gamestop near a holiday, they'll be busy and wont bother checking it. at least this is what i did with my red ringed 360, got 110 bucks off of it store credit. power to the player.
Decided to trade in my old red ringed xbox 360 for 110 dollars store credit and get me a ps3... ive picked up red dead redemption, la noire, little big planet, and demons souls...
What else should I pick up? I'm also a PC gamer so pretty much anything i can get on the PC i will get before i get it on the ps3. Because I cant play the ps3 for more than an hour before my hands start cramping due to the small controller.
