Right, Im in a Lifehouse promoting kinda mood. Lifehouse are an American "alternative rock" band who kick ass (although no one has ever heard of them). Smallville fans will have heard them whether they realise it or not because they have had songs in various episodes (and were actually in the episode Spirit). If any one feels like checking them out, I recommend these songs:

* Everything (although it takes a while to like this song. I love it but it starts off a bit "omg give me some razor blades now!" It gets really good though)

They're the best songs in my opinion but they have 3 albums (and a 4th coming out early next year yay). Give them a chance, dont just dismiss them the first time you listen to a song because yeah Jason Wade who is the singer does have an....unusual voice. It took me a while to get into it but now I love 'em.

People keep telling me too much tv is bad but I have to disagree. Tv is very educational. I've learned alot....

The pregnant woman will always go into labour at the worst possible moment such as in the middle of a natural disaster, while being held hostage in the middle of a bank heist or while stuck in an elevator.

There will always be a puddle of water nearby to step in while doing anything with electricity.

People usually die right after you tell them your deepest, darkest secret.

People in TV land really are that stupid. (take the residents of Smallville for example. The number of times Clark has saved them from a meteor freak or done something wierd and not been able to explain it and they still havent worked out there is something a bit different about him?

If you need to use your superpowers or do something you might not want others to see - dont worry. They will be conveniently unconsious on the floor.

Ok so no one besides me will actually care about this but i feel the need to rant.

Just for this story to make sense I have to explain the season 5 situation wich most non-Dukes fans wont know about. In season 5 John Schneider and Tom Wopat who play Bo and Luke respectively walked out due to some kind of disagreement about money from merchandise or something. Basically they wanted more money. Anyway becasue they were without the lead characters two other actors were brought in. Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer played Coy and Vance respectively who were two other cousins. Most fans hate Coy and Vance and yeah they werent the greatest actors ever but I liked them. Ok end of explaination. Now to the story....

I was watching one of the commentaries for an episode of the Dukes of  Hazzard (yes, I watch commentaries *hangs head in slight shame* but only because John Schneider is very funny) and the two "villains" of the episode were pretending to be Bo and Luke. Anyway at one point during the commentary when the bad guys were on screen Catherine Bach who played Daisy said how come those guys werent Coy and Vance to which Tom Wopat says becasue theyre too talented.

What a horrible thing to say!! Theres obviously some bad feeling about Coy and Vance and every time theyre mentioned (which is almost never) someone says lets not talk about that or something along those lines but what Wopat said was just so....low! Maybe its stupid for that comment to annoy me but if Tom and John hadnt walked out, Coy and Vance would never have been in it!! AND if Coy and Vance hadnt been brought in when Tom and John did walk out then the show would have been cancelled. So it saved your ass you ungrateful.... *stops, takes breath and calms down* I mean dont get me wrong i love Bo and Luke but the other two just dont get any credit and its stupid and unfair because even if they werent all that good they still put in the work.

Ok im done. Sorry for that and if you read this far - well done. Have a smiley face :D (since theres no dancing banana if you know what I mean....)

So my brother and I went for a wander again today and on the way went into the shop at the end of the road where one of the cats had been seen around the last couple of weeks. We asked if they had seen either of them recently only to be told something to the effect of "yeah there was a cat in the shop a couple of times. We called a cat shelter to come and get it but i cant remember which shelter it was and I dont have the number anymore. Was it yours?" Uh yeah thanks for nothin lady! Jeeze, I coulda hit the woman!! Ok so our cats dont have collars which they probably should but neither of them look even vaguely like they could be stray. Imagine calling someone to have them taken away. Why not just chase it out the shop?! So after much crying and panicing from me about what if hes been there for ages and someones taken him in etc etc we went home and phoned the vet and every cat shelter or charity we could find the numbers for. Every one of them said they hadnt had a cat matching the description but took our details and would keep an eye out. Anyway to cut a longer story short we just by luck happened to phone a place who emailed us a photo of a cat matching our description. It was one of our missing boys!! So we got the address of the place and went to get him once mum came home from work.

Oh but theres more....

Just after we had seen the photo of our cat and were phoning our parents yelling down the phone we found him!! With much happiness. Guess what happened....

Yip, the other one jumped through the living room window like he hadnt been missing for  weeks. If I hadnt been so god dammed happy to see him I might have killed him myself.

So after being missing for several weeks we got them both back in about half an hour of each other. So were taking them to the vet to be microchipped tomorrow which means if they ever go missing again anyone who finds them can scan the back of their necks and get all our details and hopefully phone us saying hey we have your cat. Although one of our other cats wont go anywhere near one of the boys and every time she does theres much growling and hissing. Which is making me feel bad for him.

Well its 2am and thanks to freaking jet lag im sitting infront of my computer drinking hot chocolate and eating tuna sandwiches lol. I should really go to bed and at least try to sleep and attempt to get over thr jet lag. That and i have to be up at a decent time coz me n my brother are having a supernatural marathon tomorrow. Getting up so late that we only see 3 episode would kinda defeat the purpose.

I'm also kinda down. We came back from the US to find a note from mums friend who was looking after our cats saying she hadnt seen one of the boys for the entire 3 weeks we were gone and the other boy hasnt been around for just over a week. One of them disappears alot but usually only for a couple of days and then comes back and they quite often stay out all night but are always back in the morning - thats just male cats for ya. I went for a wander today shouting their names the entire way, we have yelled out both the back and front doors several times and even made lots of noise with a cat food tin and they still havent appeared. I just wish they would come back or that we knew whether they were ok or not. Im still hoping theyll appear but mum thinks we should be prepared for the worst - what she means by that is totally obvious but im in serious denial that thats a possibility. I prefer to stay positive. Besides one of our other cats went missing a couple of years ago for 3 weeks and she ended up being found safe and sound locked in the garage of the house across the street. One of our neighbours told us that one of the missing cats had been seen down at the shop at the end of the road several times through the 3 weeks so thats a good sign. I can see poster production happening soon. Might phone the vet and enquire and go talk to someone in the aforementioned shop, see when the last time they were seen was. *sigh* This isnt a sympathy thing. Im just bored and its late, this is what im thinking about so o just thought id blog about it. Kind of a thinking out loud but electonically. 

Just before I start with this silly story, I'm not getting at America's small towns so if I offend anyone (which i dont think will happen but just incase...), I'm sorry.

Maybe this should be in the "You know youre obsessed with Supernatural when..." thread because YKYOWSNW the majority of things you see while on holiday seems like something out of an episode of Supernatural. Or more specifically Scarecrow. Seriously - it was wierd. Coincidentally Scarecrow was the episode on the WB that week (which I watched coz the TV in the house had the WB :D Woo hoo!)

First of all the place we were staying was very "small town America" which as we have all learned from Supernatural are the most dangerous places in the world. There was alot of small industrial companies - all of which were something to do with gravel or rock of some kind, which I know doesnt sound very small townish but if you had seen it you would know what I mean and I'm not very sure how to explain it. It was more the look and atmosphere of the place and the airport closed most of the day but opened again each day for the "big plane" which came in from Minneapolis twice a day:roll:. Then there was the wall. Ooh sounds creepy. Actually not so much but there was something odd about it and it was very The Benders. It was a fence outside someones house but it was covered in hubcaps from peoples cars....:o:? (I took a photo of it just coz of how much it reminded me of The Benders lol. I bet the drivers of those cars were in cages out back.) Anyway back to Scarecrow. The major thing up there (and by thing I partly mean tourist scam) was huckleberries which grow in the area and are made into everything. I'm not kidding about the everything part! There was huckleberry coffee, daquiries, beer, lip balm, shampoo, candles, bubble bath, room spray/air freshner stuff, salad dressing (which I found particulary bizarre), chocolate, fudge, gummi bears (they were good. I bought some of those) and even chocolate covered huckleberries. Oh yeah and....PIE!:shock: So there were several conversations about dont eat the pie! and "I hope you're huckleberry pie was freaking worth it!" Ok so that last one wasn't actually said but it would have to have been if we had eaten the pie! !:twisted:

There was also the day we were followed by a big black truck....

There was other stuff which didnt have anything to do with episodes but it made me think of Supernatural just the same. Like when we bought Dean's chocolate milk, which I remember someone mentioning on the boards months ago, and Jensen Jewellers. That made me laugh but got much eye rolling from my brother.Like I said, it should be in the obsessed thread.

I also saw a few ads for the CW which was cool. On  a side note, I bought the Tru Calling DVDs and when I watched one of the episodes who should I see but Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Incidentally his character was called Jeffrey lol. 

Oh, some of you will have heard about or watched the show Eureka.  If you havent, it has something to do with a town filled with people with bizarre abilities. If they were in Smallville they would be the "freak of the week". Unfortunately I havent seen it coz it hasnt started here yet. The guide on here says "The sleepy Pacific Northwest town of Eureka....." Where I was staying on holiday was close to a town called Eureka. And it was pretty damn sleepy.  AND it was in the Northwest.....hmmm.....

K, so title may be very obvious and self-explanitory but hey *waves* I'm back. Also when i went on holiday 3 weeks ago the "You know youre obsessed with supernatural when..." thread was at eighty something pages. Now its at 157!! and locked. How did that happen?

Anyway, holiday was fun. Mostly. I wanted to kill my brother by the end of the first week but thats just siblings for ya.

Right I'm away to collapse into my bed. Jet lag's the devil.:twisted:

Going away tonight for 3 weeks so, unless I happen to find a computer somewhere (I did last year so ya never know), you wont be hearing from me for a while. Going to Montana for 2 weeks to go to Glacier NP* and then Wisconsin for a week to spend the week in a water park resort thing so it should be fun. Although the 4 hours hanging about at Amsterdam airport tomorrow and the 4 hours drive from the airport to the place we're staying in Wisconsin at the start of the third week sound a whole lotta not fun. Ah well, no pain, no gain right?

I hope everyone has fun with whatever they're doing over the summer. Talk to you in 3 weeks *waves*

When i either search for Buffy the Vampire slayer or click on it on the "my shows" list in the profile bar at the top of the page, it takes me to the days of our lives guide. Does anyone else have this problem?

I was going to report it but i dont know who i would tell or which board i would post it on or anything. So i figure if i put it in my blog someone will hopefully be able to help.
