Warning - Chick flick moment about to occur.......

I feel the need to say how great the supernatural forum is. I havent really been involved until a few days ago, just the odd post here and there, but everyone is so nice and friendly. Other boards I post in are really slow compared to the SN boards and theres one that is really hostile - everyone argues with everyone else and when you start a new topic everyone gets on at you for starting something thats already been done (even if it hasnt). One of the boards im on quite alot doesnt have much going on and its populated by young girls (by young i mean like 12 or 13 year olds (no offence to any 12 or 13 year old though) ) who go on about kissing the cast and marrying them even though they cast are about 30 years older than the posters and married.

The fangirls on the Supernatural boards are thankfully not like that. Sure we have our "aw hes so cute, look at his smile. Check out those abs!" moments but its all in a very classy, tasteful way and we realise it aint never gonna happen. And like people have pointed out before - we do have good analytical discussion.

I know there is an earlier blog about the PMs on here but ive just discovered something. No the problem isnt fixed but i was just fiddling about on MP3.com and discovered i can send PMs from there. So if i can send from there why doesnt it work from TV.com? I guess if i want to PM people ill have to do it through MP3.com then which is better than not being able to do it at all.

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

I should really just do one blog with all my random thoughts but since I keep thinking of things to rant about I'll just keep writing very short new blogs.

I feel the need for a rant about the Supernatural DVDs in this one. The first half of season 1 has been released here with the second half to follow in about August but having two half just bugs me so I either buy two halfs or wait till september and buy the whole thing (both options require getting a job which I so dont want to do but will have to :( ) So then I thought I know i'll buy them in the US when im there by the weekend cept I cant cause it hasnt been released there yet dammit! Sorry to point that out - I know how alot of people are waiting so anxiously. I rely on the US for always being ahead of the UK. Shows start before we get them (although that does annoy me sometimes too lol) so I can see episodes before they actually air here and you get DVDs before we do meaning I can buy them before theyre out here but not this time. The dvds I really want arent out. Means I have to wait another 3 months :(

I've newly discovered the Supernatural forums (well not newly but not that long ago) and its so cool. I feel less of a nerd when I'm reading and posting there cause everyone is as bad as me (but like ive said before, in a good way). However im going on holiday on thursday so I'm gonna miss so many posts and then ill just be all behind and thats bad :( Ah well, I guess i'll just have a lot to catch up on when i get back - in 3 weeks! 3 weeks worth of posts! At least its made up by the fact ill be away having fun in Montana :D

Also how come Jensen has a lil profile icon thingy and Jared doesnt? I know the Jensen icon is from Smallville but Jared so deserves one. The Tv.com people should make a whole Supernatural icon set. Although there wouldnt be many icons in it - Sam, Dean, John and Metallicar and I suppose they could add Jess and Mary.....any other suggestions? 

I've been waiting in anticipation to hear the CWs schedule and all I can say is Woo hoo!! Veronica Mars was saved!*does little dance*  I'm so happy about that because its one of my favourite shows and I was about to be really annoyed if we weren't getting anymore of her antics.

Also Smalville and Supernatural are staying which I'm even more happy about but then we knew they were safe.

So all my shows are staying to shock and thrill for another season :D:wink:

Was listening to music the other day and I have alot of stuff none of my friends have every heard of so I was wondering has anyone ever heard of/like Martin Stenmarck? Or Lifehouse? Lifehouse are one of my favourite groups and only 2 people I know knows who they are. There should be loads of people on here though coz they've done alot of stuff in Smallville and I think they have had alot of songs out in America so alot of you Americans will probably heard of them right?

So yeah, Its driving me nuts lol and I have to find someone whos heard of them.

Ok so this new tv.com is really bugging me. Or rather the PM part is bugging me. I cannot make it work. I can read messages other people send me but i cant reply or send a new message. Ive done what people have told me to do to make it work but still nothing. So im not ignoring messages from people, im just having problems replying. :evil:

First of all, how great would it be if they brought out a Supernatural magazine? I really think they should because Smallville has one. Charmed has one. Alias has one, so does Lost, 24, Stargate and Buffy and Angel so why not supernatural? I think it could work. Interviews, stuff about actual supernatural legends both from the show and just in general....and the best part...posters :). I also had a pretty random thought the other day about how alot of things from Supernatural and the WB are all connected. The most obivious is Jensen Ackles was in Smallville and Jared Padelecki was in Gilmore Girls but theres also other things. Adrianne Palicki (how confusing could that get? Padelecki and palicki? Not the most common name ever and they have 2 similar on the same show?) was in smallville's season 3 finale and is now Jessica in supernatural, Julie Benz was in the supernatural ep Faith and was also in Angel (and Buffy but thats not WB related), Amy Acker was in the ep Dead in the water and was Fred in Angel, Marnette Pattersonm who was Charlie in Bloody Mary is now Christy in Charmed, Jared was in Cheaper by the dozen with Tom Welling from Smallville (ok so only for a minute but still there)and one of the sets used for the Dukes of Hazzard in now used for Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls is on the WB, Dukes was a warner bros. show too AND John Schneider was in the Dukes now on Smallville (or was) which is another WB show. Lol i know, i have wierd thoughts. Lastly, i think TV.com is one of the best sites on the web. Its full of really good info and theres loads to do. Maybe its just me but dontcha think there should be a movies site too or at least incorporate movies into this site? Anyway thats all for now.

wow three blogs in one day. Normally i do three blogs in several months. Anyway, i need to rant about TV shows and their theme tunes. Or lack of the same. What is with the sudden trend of just having a logo pop up on the screen and the cast listed at the bottom of the screen while the episode is playing? Uh huh...Supernatural, Lost, Alias im looking at you. There are loads more, i just cant think of them right now lol. What ever happened to cool theme tunes like Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars, Dukes of Hazzard, Firefly, Smallville, ER, Bones, Charmed, relic hunter etc. Ok so there are more which have theme tunes than dont but they are slowing becoming a thing of the past. Actually it kinda works for Lost but supernatural has the potential to have a great theme tune. Is it just me this annoys? Tell me what you think.

I realise i could have had this blog and the last one together but one is about Supernatural and one is about the Dukes so it seemed stupid. Anyway... You know you're obsessed with The Dukes of Hazzard when.... 1. you have more Dukes pictures on your computer than family photos. 2. you can slide across your car like Luke. 3. you enjoy even the Coy & Vance episodes 4. you have a dog just like Rosco's and you name it Flash 5. you call driving real fast "bo and luking it" 6. you crawl through the window of your car once in a while instead of opening the door 7. you wish you had a Dixie horn just like the General Lees. 8. you get busted by the police for evading an officer and think to yourself, "but it was only a little shuck and jive!". 9. you dream about someday owning a 1969 dodge charger 10.you start saying things like y’all, dang and howdy even though you’re scottish. 11.car chases become an every day part of life.
