Sounds like a cool book, but it seems like your every day disaster story. Anything happen to set it apart from all the other things pretty much exactly like this?
It's about a certain family over the course of the year. It's main character is a girl and near the middle a virus wipes out a chunk of the population.
I read a book called Life as We Knew It. I thought it was pretty good. Has anyone one else read it? To sum it up, the moon gets hit with a meteor and orbits the Earth closer than usual. Tides go crazy and volcanoes erupt all over the place. Very good. 9.5/10
