Uh...yes, actually they are (real that is, used every day...of course not and also irrelevant). You have to enter in a valid, verifiable email address and a criteria conforming password on both Live and PSN. Read the doc. Like I said, pre-made email names and passwords, many of which are just a series of numbers.

Why would anyone BS on this? This goes far beyond fanboyism. I have an account. If it was legit I'd be worried and warning people. We're talking about personal information here.

This isn't real. If you read the doc, you'll see nothing but fake, pre-made cookie cutter accounts and passwords...many of the latter that you cannot even use on Xbox Live. Go look for yourself. If you have a Live account, you should do so just for peace of mind.

Its nice to see that they give a damn about graphics. Make it slightly less bug-ridden and we might just have a winner here.

Of course it was. The best way to get traffic on social media is stir up a controversy. The sad thing is that people actually took her seriously (e.g. responded to her by citing opposing reports and data).

Anyone with a brain knows that violent video games are not the cause of increased violent crimes. There's a number of factors that play into that, all of which are far more serious issues. The economic situation, the rise of mental health issues, subliminal messaging (religious, racial, political, etc.), the ease of acquiring deadly weapons, and if they want to keep going there...yes, mainstream media. However, most members of society don't play games. They sure as hell watch TV & movies though... Funny how these people conveniently ignore that fact.

People like Katie Couric should simply be ignored. If more people did that, she wouldn't have the platform to spout this nonsense anymore. Big ups to Bungie and the ESA for getting the ball rolling on that front.

There's nothing wrong with firing someone over a contract dispute and/or difference of views on a project. The issue is how they kicked him to the curb when frankly, he made their company a lot of money.

At least let the dude talk to his team and get his things like a civilized human being. Technically, they don't owe him anything...but Ubisoft could and should have shown some more respect given their history.

A demand as high as I say? Dude, there's forums to this day where people discuss possible BF3 and traditional KOTOR rumors, wishlists, etc. People definitely still want those games. And I already explained why there isn't more Battlefront games on the market...Pandemic was the primary developer. They went under. Since then, the game was continued in development by other studios working with LucasArts, but it ended up in development hell, and was eventually scrapped.

LucasArts, over the past several years has been in a transitional period, and now that there is a dedicated publisher behind new Star Wars games, its likely that an IP which sold nearly 15 million copies in the span of five years will be back in development with an experienced and proven dev studio behind it with a strong budget to work with.

Star Wars has many existing franchises that have been largely dormant over the last half a decade. Battlefront isn't the only one. If you would dispute the value of all of those such critically acclaimed and high selling franchises, than I don't know what to tell you. There is definitely money to be made in the Star Wars gaming market...IF the games are done right. Despite what anyone says about EA's shady practices, they have development studios under them that are well funded and proven in the AAA development ring. There's a lot to be excited about if you're a Star Wars fan.

No offense, but I think you were in the minority then. Most people were pretty pissed about what happened with TOR, from its inception.

Battlefront was scheduled to continue, but got lost in development hell. Once Pandemic Games went down, the IP and LucasArts in general, started falling apart. The demand was there...and still is in my opinion. We now have AAA, proven development studios that will likely be linked to upcoming mainstream projects, so the quality should be there.

Like I said, Star Wars games attract people that don't even normally buy a lot of video games, so you're getting increased sales that new and existing VG-exclusive IPs cannot attain, based on brand recognition alone. That is highly valuable to publishers.

Star Wars games sell. What doesn't sell, is an MMO based off a beloved series that no one asked for...so no one played it. Get it, Mikey? The issue with TOR is its MMO status, not the SW IP.

Battlefront 3, KOTOR reboot/new entry, and other SW licensed AAA titles will sell. It draws interest from people that aren't even gamers, just like Batman and Marvel-based games. There's a reason developers will pay for those licenses.

You probably won't have to buy a Wii U. Its being crowd funded, aka kickstarter. If there was a major publisher like Nintendo involved, funding would be a non-issue. At this point, there doesn't seem to be any known publisher involved.

The fact that its being billed as a spiritual successor instead of a direct sequel/prequel, or even makes use of the Eternal Darkness title also indicates Nintendo is not involved, as they retain the rights to the series...not Silicon Knights (or Dennis Dyack).
