[QUOTE="dkjestrup"]So we have this cell technology right? You can combine the power of multiple systems easily? Why don't Sony do this with their next game. You have a box, which has the hard drive, the controllers plug into it, it contains the game disc. Then, you have attached to it some 2x2 (or whatever they can make a reasonable size) cube of cells, which plugs in. THEN, when a developer is like "I need more power" They can design a game which requires 2 (or more) of these cubes, and it will have a big "2" on the front. Now, gamers only have to buy more cubes, once every 5-6 years or so, when developers are running out of power. Sony can work on reducing the size of the cubes eventually, but they should still be compatible. It's cheaper for us, and they'll have a huge advantage over the Xbox: 20 years later, we have 20 years of games, they have the games released in the last 6 years. This would be great in my opinion. Developers could even create multiple settings (such as 1 cube, 2 cubes, etc) for their game to run on for those who cannot afford it. Way of the future? If I understand correctly we won't need graphics cards or that jazz if we're using our TV sets.

"If I understand correctly we won't need graphics cards or that jazz if we're using our TV sets" You will ALWAYS, regardless or what console or pc you're using, need some form of GPU/chipeset/graphics card to produce a picture to whatever type of display you choose to use.

Well, about a year and a half ago the miss' got a gaming asus for 1500$ cdn. Maybe 8 months back my best friend picked up his fiance an Asus R.O.G laptop at bestbuy state side for 999$ . So in all honesty, I don't think "cheap" and "gaming laptop" will ever go together sadly.

Why is everyone mentioning "faster" drives and such? This drive is stock speed....raven_squad
Don't try to understand that which is the Gamespot forums. It leads to headache.

[QUOTE="davidkamayor"]

cept it only supports 500gigs and look at the speed

GeneralHawx
wrong it supports up to 640gb after that it doesn't support it as for the speed I wouldn't recommend it unless u replaced the cooling agent

Whats wrong with the speed? 5400rpm is the stock speed for PS3 drives. Not only that, 5400rpm drives do not produce a lot of heat.

First you act tough like you don't care about breaking ToS, then a few posts down you're saying you want to abide by them. In all honesty based on other posts you've made in threads I've come across, and seeing how many have been removed by mods, you can tend to be quite the troll.

[QUOTE="fivex84"]

The $80 I spent on 4 gig's of G.Skill DDR3 1600 was so expensive. :roll:

JigglyWiggly_
When your ram requirements are for multiple pcs, it gets expensive, and 80$ isn't cheap, I could buy a 360 with 30$ more. (Refurb'd)

80$ is extremely cheap, I remember paying 300+$ for 2GB 4 or 5 years ago.

I've noticed this as well. The best PS3 controllers in terms of quality were easily the Sixaxis controllers. Since the Dualshock's have released I've been through 3 of them. The lack of quality is obvious.Doolz2024
I have both controllers, and I dunno what the hell you're doing with yours to go through 3 controllers but mine work and feel perfect.
