They do make HDMI-DVI cables, and even adapters that you can plug the other end of the HDMI cable into. they're 12-25$ from what ive seen for the adapters. what I would do first is maybe order a cheap one online just to be sure it works, then invest in a decent one. I bought an adapter to use on my tv for HDMI to DVI-D and it didnt work. Give it a shot, but one from BestBuy and if it doesnt work, return it and no worries. Good luck man.

I called and they sent me the box, it took 2 weeks to recieve the box, I sent it away saturday from puro, monday i got the email saying they got it, wed I got the email saying it was "fixed" and friday I got it back.
I have live gold, and i dont usually see adds, unless its for a game coming out, or xbox product, so thats ok with me... I personally love product placement IF its done right, and tastefully. For example seeing ads for things like axe and coke and dodge and stuff like that was kinda cool in the rainbow six vegas games.. however there was far too many dodge vehicles on the streets. lol. when it makes it feel like the game is in a real life setting, its done well. When i see a coke ad or a 2006 dodge caliber add in a war torn city in the year 2142, its a total sell out and total BS. thats my opinion anyway.

NO KIDDING, your mom, goes out of her way to get the game for you on launch day, thats a cool mom, i dont care what you say, she tried.. i WISH my mother did stuff like that when i was younger. A lot of games only have 16:9 widescreen, so regardless of whether you have a 19" ws (16:10) or fs (4:3) you will have black bars due to the aspect ratio.
Not true, I play on a 20" NEC Multisync 20WMGX2, 16:10. 1680x1020, and there are no black bars, you just set the resolution in the dashboard to what looks best on the monitor. Unless you've playing on a monitor, you wouldnt see the resolution settings. IMO the 360 looks great over the VGA cables, my launch 360 died and a got a new hdmi one for my tv, I use the refurb on my monitor for co-op, or when i feel like having the tv on something when I play. It's fantastic.
