I think you'll really like oblivion. Its a great game, I have the one addon, i think its Knights of the nine, its great. there is alot to do, i have about 150hours logged in the game since it came out, ive done the main questline, and the side ones are just as fun. its well worth it

RROD has the three year warranty, so your 360 is still under warranty for that :).

im just worried about getting someone elses problems... anyone else have issues with their repair, or has everything been smooth?

I got the RROD last Thursday. I left it running for about 30 mins and restarted it and did not get the RROD. When I turned it off and on again about 3 hours later I got the RROD. I called it a night and tried again on Friday. Once again I got the RROD. I left it running and unplugged everything but the powder cord. After about 40 mins, I restarted it and it booted up properly. I then proceeded to leave it on the entire weekend (this time with a fan blowing on it) and the unit performed perfectly. I turned it off late last night and restarted it and did not get the RROD. I fired it up this morning and again did not get the RROD. I had already ordered the box to send the unit back to Microsoft, but now it is working. My guess is that the unit will fail at some point, but I cant send it back if it is working as all that will do is cost me gaming time.

In short, if you get the RROD once and manage to fire it up again without the RROD, I suggest you leave it running because when you restart it you might get the RROD again. Of course doing this might break something else, but if you want to make sure you get a weekend in, you might as well try it.

Has anyone gotten the RROD during a game as opposed to during start up?

The scariest part of the game (for me) was the first time I fought a Beserker. Those things are so creepy the first time you see one.

well the memory is up to you, its just nice to have more for less type of thing, the 40gb sounds right for you but the biggest issue is that it doesn't have BC with ps2 games. it had it for ps1 but no ps2. it doesn't come with the memory card readers and comes with two less usb ports (really you don't need the card readers and 2 usb ports are good enough)

PSN is free of course, downloading demos, videos and pictures are for free :D however if you want add ons and full games you'll need to purchase them by credit card and by gamer cards (coming soon)

Great games are Unreal tournament 3, call of duty 4, uncharted, rachet and clank, i guess assassins creed (but i really don't think its anything you need to waste your time on, wasted 14 hours of my life i can't get back :() Ninja Gaiden Sigma and warhawk. Games to come in 08 are Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, maybe Final fantasy 13 and Final fantasy vs 13, maybe Resident evil 5, Soul calibur, Tekken 6, Dynasty warriors 6, Gran Turismo 5 and alot more

you only need to buy two things: HDMI cables and a extra controller, unlike the 360 PS3 comes with everything need, therefore no add ons. if you were to compare the consoles and match them so they are the same, 360 is in fact more expensive. i'll also give the ps3 a disadvantage by using its best model against the 360s second best model.

PS3 80gb = $500 (theX360 pro comes with two games so i'll add that here as well) game = $60 HDMI cable = hmm depends really but to be fair i'll say $50 total = $610

X360 pro = $400 HD DVD drive = $150 Wifi = $80 Xbox live gold card = $60 total = $690

however 360 is upgradedable so it can be cheaper then ps3 by alot but just not as good, if you put the elite into the formula then it'd be an overall of $790 vs $610 (if i left stuff that need to be added for the ps3 please let me know)

I read that the max resolution is only 1080 x 720!

How am i meant to hook my 22 Inch lcd monitor up to this, it will look like crap. My native resolution is 1650 x 1050 (720p).

What do i do guys, can't i upscale the reso to fit my monitor or am i stuck?

And what do i need to hook my 360 up to my monitor for video and sound (dvi port)

thats NOT 720p. My monitor has the same res, its actually a very nice picture when i use it insted of my tv.

Well I am afraid you are screwed. You should not be playing with hacks. Those people that were killing you ARE better than you. I am CAL-I and CEVO-P in CS: Source and there is quite alot of competition on some of those pubs out there and I know it is tough to compete with some of those guys. You have basically ruined your hopes of playing CS: Source online. The only thing you can do now is buy another copy. It is NEVER worth hacking. Just spend about a month playing a couple hours a day and you can hang with most of the pub scrubs out there. There is always going to be someone out there that is going to own you from time to time. Hell even I get that occasionally.

I love how you didnt even READ the guys reasoning for the ban, and jumped right to bragging. amazing.

Anyway. Is it possible someone maybe made a report on you to steam? I cant remember if you can or not, but it seems like thats the case.

I tried BOTH my xplorers, and they both do the same thing... Im glad im not the only one with this issue, I wish they'd release a patch or something to fix this.. I havent played it since the day after it came out.
