WOW!! I can't believe how over complicated some of you folks are trying to make this problem. In short there are a few of the posters here who had it right on the money. This sounds simply like an overheating problem. Just open up the case dust it out good and make sure all your fans are working. Also go through and make sure your cables are up out of the way, they can block airflow and help to cause overheating. thanatose

yeah this thread made me laugh.  He's right, Im saying dust in the heatsinks is you enemy here.  Go grab a can of compressed air, and dust it out really well while its off. then give it a try.  I;ve had this issue with my server before

The reviews I've read for this version seemed to have particular problems - blurry cut-scenes, a complete lack of mouse support, and the relative awkwardness of the button placement for the context-sensitive scenes.  My question is, how much of this could be fixed by a mod?

videos - not a chance...

the button placement is good if you use a game pad...

and there is already a mouse aiming mod, i use it, fantastic.

I tried one..no one could hear me..I couldnt hear them (full of static)

IMO stay away from them...look at them, you have to speak louder, they can fall off your ear, you gotta charge them...Unless you play with your controller a metre away from your head, stick with the wired one

you dont have to speak any louder at all, and they cant fall off, not even if you shake your head, you clearly havent used one, or you'd know this.

regardless. i have one, i love it.. i think its worth the money.  if you find yourself wanting it, i say get it, i;ve never had a problem with it, and i've noticed its alot more comfortable, and easier to use, you forget you're wearing it

1) Is it any good?  Is there Echo/Crackle, anything that is annoying or disturbing?
2) Do you need the Wireless Reciever to use it?
3) How long do batteries last and how does it Recharge?

i know its not for me to answer, but basically 365 days divided by 50 dollars is 7.3..........so basically he's right with about 7 cents a day.

you have to do it the other way, you have 50$, and you divide THAT by 365, and thats 0.1369,  14 cents a day....

.14x365=51.1

.07x365=25.55
