The demo was largely unimpressive and short. I liked it the first time the tall monster came at me after he was downed. When the second did exactly the same, tha magic disappeared. The graphics are nice, yes, but not that nice. I like the enemy models though. And the semi-destructible pillars.MadMinstrel

it was a teaser demo, it's supposed to be short.

It will only fix your 360 for a certain ammount of time. You will get the 3 red rings of death again. The reason the towel trick works is because it heats up your 360's motherboard and that sort of jump starts it to work again. That's why a lot of people get the red lights when the 360 is cold.

The towel is just another method. You can also use a Heat Gun which would probably work better then the towel.

Anyway if you are out of a warranty, Then by all means try it if you'd like but if you are still within your warranty. DO NOT do the towel trick or any other "trick" and just send it to Microsoftreubendarosa

its doesnt "jump start" it to work again... the issue is that the motherboards are warping from heat, and that inturn is making the pins of the cpu and gpu lift from the sockets and breaking the connection with the sodder.. to me, i think its making it so hot inside that either the sodder is becoming soft and is reforming.. or that things are just setteling back into place, im not sure..   it sounds so stupid, but its working for so many people, so I cant make a judgement call on it.

if its out of warrenty and its broke, what do you have to lose?  I say try what works..  I've seen a video of a guy that tilted his side ways and hit it 3 times with his hand.. and that make it work.. so who knows? lol

[QUOTE="ReverseCycology"]K, I'm on it! Stupid me, earlier I was tempted and I stoled 4000 ms points and a 12 and 1 month xbox live gold cards at Walmart. But when I came home I realize they didn't work because they have to activate them on the register. =/. Brb.starsdestroy

Nice job genius.

Umm they don't activate it at the store, it comes to the store activated.

They have to swipe the card at the store, so ERRRRR WRONG. You lose, and I don't have any consolation prizes for you either.

ERRRR wrong.  Not once have I ever had an Xbox Live or MS Points card swiped at the store and they all worked fine.  They don't need activated because the code is what activates them, not a barcode that gets scanned.

Wal-mart does. They swipe phone cards too.

not my walmart, they're all sealed in plastic cases like the controllers and such.. when you get home, you scratch off the one area to reveal the code, and enter it... how else does it work?

Nykos coolers suck.  The fan is so weak that it actually BLOCKS airflow, not add to it.RMage

well, thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard.  the 360 fans are extremely low flow, the intercooler fans are not.  I've had mine since day one.. and while playing oblivion i;d get lock ups here and there.. i havent had one problem with my intercooler.. and i;ve been using it for months and months now.

no, he's not, they did make a bunch of wireless controllers with dull grey bottoms, my friend got stuck with one with his 360.

the one that came with my 360 and the 3 other i bought in-store are all metalic on the bottom

[QUOTE="basersx"]

Guys he has an 8600GTS!!! That is not a good card and can in NO WAY run Oblivion on high with HDR on!!

So to the OP, No! Your 8600GTS is a pretty crappy card and the cheaper X1950XT could run Oblivion much better and still not maxed!

BenTheJamin

are u retarded?

Yeah, I bought that crappy cooler myself cuz my 360 is kind of in a tight spot with not a ton of ventilation. I got the dreaded 3 red lights of death on mine. Good thing I was still under warranty but it was scary. Word of advice: Don't ANYONE buy this P.O.S!Rasskal33

I love how people bash things so badly.  I;ve had mine for over 9 months now, and I play every day, AND I have a launch system, and i;ve never had a single problem.
