It is an intense addiction and I believe it is a sickness like alchohol, I was a pack a day smoker for 20 years(started in the marines) and promised myself that I would quit when I turned 40, it has been nearly 5 years since I had a ciggaratte and every day is a new challenge, quitting was one of the toughest things in my life(boot camp was a picnic compared to quitting) my suggestion to all young people dont start !!!. because it is real hard to quit.

after being on a waiting list for over 5 years, a position finally opened for a Formula One Racing team !!!!!, I am now part of R & D (research and developement) needless to say it was enough to pull me out of retirement, I am so stoked!!!!!, only drawback is that I only wont be able to post here very much anymore, i sure made alot of friends here and hopefully wont be demoted from my unions but I will let the leaders decide that, thanks for all the support to all my friends out there in gamespot-land who wished me luck.    take care:)

[QUOTE="FernandoDANTE"]Well, I don't know if this is a valid isue, but my Emblems constantly come and go, every week.fastesttruck

If its the Below Emblems, they do that almost every day.

Good TastePlayStation 2 Aficionado and the Tagger one.

If you are talking about those 3, then no, its not realy a valid issue. GameSpot knows of the issue but the Emblems come back with in a day or so. If you lose an Emblem that is NOT related to games or tagging, then it may be an issue that may not fix its self.

I am missing my scavenger emblem, I also contacted Customer support about the issue, I played the game all the way through and beat it on the first time, and I also never recieved the avatar designer emblem.formula1racer
For the Avatar one, did you post 3 or more avatars that were still there when they locked the topic? Some went away due to high bandwidth, Thus if they didnt see 3 or more, you wouldnt have gotten the Emblem.

yup, sure did.

I'm doing pretty good, I've gone all day without one...Minor withdrawl effects such as aggrevation, and one incident where I snapped at my mom for like 10 seconds. How long do you think it will take of no smoking to be considered to have quit? What are some tips/techniques I can use to help me quit without going insane?420_Forever
just be strong willed and dont give in to the craving, and soon your body will no longer need the Nicotine, I have quit now for 5 years now and sometimes I still crave nicotine just remember that the craving will go away, thats what I do
