@tinglep @spartanx169x agree...almost totally....technically more weapons should mean more variety which I am in favour for. I am rubbish at sniping so im not going to use a gun I dislike. I might as well go watch a football team I hate.
@yoda101280 nail on the head!...and yet in all my time playing BF3 I haven't heard this once. That's why I play COD "for the okay for 5 mins Hollywood SP but can I trade this in now please", and Battlefield for a bit of decent MP
The success of either console will all come down to one thing. Who has the biggest list of sports titles and first person shooters. People may moan about Call of Duty, Fifa, Battlefield and NFL year after year, but they are amongst the biggest sellers on either console. Whether or not the DLC is exclusive to one console or the other is irrelevant. If Sony has a much bigger list of sports and FPS titles the PS4 will win, or vicea versa. Despite the red ring of death situation, and the cost of Xbox live, Microsoft still shipped more xbox 360 consoles then Sony did Ps3's. Xbox sales may have been non-existent in japan but as they don't play FPS games generally, this seems to further enhance my point. In addition, both call of duty and battlefield sold more copies on xbox 360 then they did on ps3.
I hate the idea of the second hand games market dying and the cost of xbox live but i will still be buying an Xbox over a PS4. Why? because i am part of Microsoft targeted demographic. Im young, male and love sports and shooters, so i know i will get the best choice on xbox.
@CageFury @mogmckean As a gamer you have the power to vote with your cash. If your bored of the same old things then dont buy them...EA wont read your posts here so that is your only Valid method of protest really..that said i will be buying this game because i can pick it up and have a go straight away without having to spend an hour marching to the frontline and dying from one shot
I think we have reached the point were all those who dislike MOH and COD should go play Arma or flashpoint,and failing that make their own game. When it sells less than 100,000 copies then i think they may realise that this style of FPS is what people want! I enjoyed R6 and the GR series but i prefer the pick up and play style of MOH and COD. Their not everyones cup of tea but EA are a buisness and must make money. Therefore they must make the game the majority want.
@AntiVenom101 @charliemike93 The game is based on current conflicts and hotspots, so clearly you have had you head so far up your arse to miss Afghanistan and Iraq! I don't see you bashing half the WW2 games for featuring Germany and Japan....you talk a lot about maturity and "civilised" people yet you play the same games and visit the same website as the rest of us!
