The opposite of "to bash" is "to praise". If you're complaining about people bashing Apple, the logical conclusion is that you think we should priase them.
You could have made money using ANY comparably poweredlaptop, and your margins would have been higher.

It's true the opposite of bashing is praising. However, there's a third alternative. It's called reasoning.
There's a reason Apple's stuff costs more, and they make no bones about it. And people who buy Apple things know what they're getting into. So it is up to you, good sir, to figure out how Apple is getting customers while selling components at a higher price than its competitors.
As for making money, yeah, I could've made money using any comparably powered laptop... or so the internet theorists would say, who've probably never made a dime in their life. The reason I made money is actually all to do with the Macbook Pro, OS X, OS X exclusive applications, and the OS X community.
Just for the record, in real life (i.e outside forums), it's not all-or-nothing. I'm currently investing in Linux-based servers for the real meaty video/media things I need to do. I'll most likely be purchasing Windows based PCs to make full use of them. However, none of it would have been possible had I not made use of everything my Macbook Pro and the Apple community had to offer.
You see, you become successful when you don't hold prejudices and reason your way to victory and money :)
Don't preach to me about "success", I'm being paid a nicesalary while I sit here and post myself. Had you been specific in the fact that you were developing software specifically for the OS/X family, there wouldn't be nearly as much up for interpretation in your post. You see, when you leave out information, the person disseminating your information has to make logical leaps that could have been avoided had you simply filled-in the blanks.
I'm a software developer (IBM OS/390 mainframe), as well, for a Fortune 100 insurance company. Don'tbe condescending like you'rethe only adult on these boards with a profession. Maybe you should heed your own advice in regards to prejudices and reason?
Again, what's up with the concatenation?
