Actually I have found myself buying less games since I got wow. Pre wow I was loaded with games now I buy like 1 every 2 months. It's a great game and alot of fun if you play with friends. It can be time consuming and playing a game where you have to play to other peoples schedule can be difficult. I would go play the trial first. Also keep in mind the cost. The game itself with the expensive monthly fee and all the expansions can hurt your wallet.

I love wow but I kick myself when I imagine what I could have done with those hours. All the books I could have read or the rock hard abs and chiseled physique I dream of having. Oh well time to do 2v2 on my ret paly...World of Warcraft .... too much of a time sink and hard to kick permanently

It is a game that will last you. Hours will pass by as if they were minutes. There is always something to do in WoW. But remember you can get carried away with it and yes, you can get addicted.
I'ts a game about gear. You might not start out with the goal of outgearing everyone but most people eventually get caught in the grind. It's a fun grind but a grind nonetheless.
I have wow and play it. Not as religiously as I used to (10-15 hours a week for pvp and a raid or 2). My honest advice to you is if you have alot of free time on your hands and you can't find something productive to do then yes, go get wow now. If you are a high school/college student or unemployed then don't risk it.
I just had a notalgia attack of arcade mayhem that is the fighting game. Normally I would run out and buy Mortal Kombat but alas, it is not possible (yet).
Can any of suggest a fighting game worth a damn on the pc?
I just got a brand spanking new logitech f 710 and I want to put it through it's paces,
I'd imagine beating a high dragon is easier than beating one that works out and lives a healthy lifestyle...
đ Thnx mate. Will do it now. I actually had to 3 man the dragon...You need to speak to her at the city guard house first, before she cna join you on quests. Look for the "A Firend in the guard" quest line in your journal.

I haven't contacted the grey warden yet. The mage I think he is. I just got the warrior elf.
I just killed the first big dragon in the bone pits.
I'm four hours in to the game and I see aveline in my party selection but I cant select her. Can someone please tell me why?
It's OK. You have to your profile and then search under regitstered game content on the left. I havent fiddled with DLC for awhile so I'm a bit rusty at the bioware dlc circus...
