Went out the other day in my Ben Sherman tee, black jeans and Chuck Taylors while listening to "Sixteen Military Wives" by The Decemberists.

The man, he is incredible. Da best, with a d-a. Even when his Nightingale stuff sounds corny to me, I cant help but be like "**** YEAH AWESOME" because it is. The man is just genius. Although an Edge of Sanity reunion would be nice, I wouldn't really want it. It's like, if Dave went back to Metallica now. Out of Edge of Sanity we got Tormented and Tortyr (Drette's new thangs) and Nightingale among others (Dan's ****), all of them great stuff. However, I would like to see Dan on vocal and maybe even guitar duties in a proper Death Metal band, or even ProgDeath if we are lucky. Guitar wise he was great in Demiurg and if he could translate that ability into a proper, touring Death Metal band where he performed vocals I would be over the moon. Surely by now he should be able to maintain the growls for live shows. Also, I want some damn news on a new Nightingale album. I know he's all producing and mixing and **** for bands like The Project Hate but, come on mang. COME ON MANG.

Anyway, just felt like getting it all out there.

If you have no idea what the **** is going on, I've been watching Twin Peaks. Despite being a big Lynch film I had not watched TP until now, and it is magnificient. Only halfway through the second season, and I get the feeling it's going to be a lot more different now that they resolved the Laura Palmer case, a bit more supernatural. So far an 8.5/10.

Hopefully I will be able to finish it by Wednesday. Then I might start rewatching some other Lynch classics I havent watched in a while, like Blue Velvet or Mulholland Drive.

I love how life and the universe always works my way. Sure it pisses off a few of my friends, and much like Newman they believe that the day will come with everything will come crashing down around me.
