Ok, so I recently got a few broken PS3's from a friend who works at Rent-a-Center. They came with everything (wires,cables, except controllers) and I couldnt get them to work. So I was just wondering if any of you would happen to know a guide or website where I can attempt to fix/repair any of these consoles. Thanks in advance.

Not quite sure, but here's a tut on how to disassemble a ps3. Dont know if it will help though, haha.

You don't need to know, you cannot create games fot it.

Is this for system wars?

[QUOTE="jimm895"][QUOTE="freham2001"]The controllers really arent as scary on the inside as you guys make it out to be :P I currently have a sixaxis that ive taken completely apart and am waiting for some LEDs to mod it. But then again ive been taking controllers apart for years, sooo.... ;) Best of luck to you though. Dante_May_Die
That's true because I have taken my old Sixaxis apart several times because of a sticking analog stick. But then I have yet found anything that can't be taken apart and repaired as long as a person takes care when doing so.

strange the noise stopped lol...magic !!

Lol. Well, if it was a little plastic piece that broke off inside it probably just got stuck somewhere. I give it 10 minutes before it gets knocked loose again. ;)

Your controller's fine, I'm sure, especially if it works perfectly.

I'm sure it's just a tiny bit of plastic that broke off, or something else unnecessary.

Scianix-Black
Yeah thats usually the case. I had that happen with several ps2 controllers back in the day.

[QUOTE="freham2001"][QUOTE="RotaryRX7"] I hate it when I get that error.RotaryRX7
Man if i was a programmer i would definitely put a message like that in a program...lol.

lol Same here, if Bill Gates would have hired me as their error message creator for Windows, it would be a much more enjoyable experience WHEN (not if) Windows has problems. Windows: "The page cannot be displayed" Mine: "Your internet is ****ed up." Windows: "Windows experienced an unexpected error. If you would like to report this problem, please send us an error report." Mine: "Well, yet again something happened in our program where we have no ****ing clue what is going on. Send an error report to tell us what happened and we'll do nothing at all about it. It's highly likely that you'll experience this same error if you ever try to do the previous action again. We are not going to fix it." Windows: "Access denied." Mine: "GTFO" Just a few of my suggestions to spice up Windows...but of course, then the ESRB would have to rate it and make it "M" for Mature. :lol:

Lol, now theres a good idea. Adult windows. ;)
