Graphics definatly not maxed. We are talking about multicore consoles which devs are still getting to grips with. Look at Doom 3 Chronicles of Riddick on xbox. RE4 on gamecube and PS2, god of war... the list goes on. These games came out very late in the consoles lifecycle, we have a way to go yet.

Iv'e used both controllers a fair bit, 1st used the Duelshock for the PS1. Iv'e never really loved the playstaion controller, but you get used to it quickly and it's a good all rounder. The 360 contoller is the best controller I have ever used, hands down my favourite. The only problem is the d-pad isn't great. Functional but not great, cuz I love fighting games and it doesn't work as well as it should.

The thread should be, "console with the most consistant graphics", personally I would rather play a console where most of the games ran better than one that had one or two exclusives which look better.

Let's take a closer look at the top 10 for X360:

1) Orange Box - Better on PC (does not require high end system) and available on PS3

2) Bioshock - Better on PC (does not require high end system)

3) Call of Duty 4- Just as good on PC or PS3, maybe better depending on what you read

4) Oblivion - Better on PC, Better on PS3

5) Gears of War - Better on PC, better graphics and longer single player game

6) Halo 3- X360 exclusive currently eventually coming to PC

7) RockBand - Equal on PS3

8 ) Guitar Hero II - People play GHIII now

9) Mass Effect - Available soon on PC and going to be much much better

10) GRAW - People play GRAW2 now

This summarizes the X360 library, either it's available on another system, or it's a 2006 title that nobody plays anymore.

What if I, like most people, don't have a PC that can play those games?

As usual, the anti-360 argument boils down to idea that everyone in the world has a PC able to play games like Gears and Bioshock at the same level the 360 does. Please try to understand, that's not even close to true. Millions of people have perfectly functioning PCs that can't even come close to running Bioshock at medium to high settings, so for them, the 360 holds the superior version of each game.

Also, let's keep in mind the fact that Gears came to the PC a full 6 months after its 360 counterpart, so yes, a couple extra chapters would be expected; I waited for Oblivion GotY Edition for the 360, and was rewarded by essentially getting the extra content for free. Patience will be rewarded. However, I bought Mass Effect when it came out. Why? Because I didn't want to wait 6 months for the game (especially considering the few improvements that will be coming with the PC version). I bought Halo 3 for the 360, because God knows when that game will come to the PC (and God only knows how good the port will be).

But this whole argument is moot, because there are still plenty of games which neither the PC nor PS3 have, which are on the 360 (Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, Crackdown, Forza, etc.). Are there arguments for gaming on a PC over a 360? Sure. Are their arguments for the PS3? Of course. But the idea that the 360 is essentially the place where PC games go to be "downgraded" is not only wishful thinking, but also a symptom of hermits thinking all of gaming revolves around their PCs (or cows needing a second system to dump on the 360 with).

So true, I bought a 360 so I wouldn't have to upgrade my PC.

It's not a slow or cheap PC at all either, it has an AMD X2 3800, 2gb RAM, 1000GB HD, SoundBlaster Platium Sound Card, 24" LCD with duel monitors but only a 6600GT graphics card. It's only 2 years old. Same age as my 360 but it can't play new games but my 360 can. I can't justify upgrading my PC when I have a 360 which plays everything properly out of the box. The only game which I could ever consider upgrading it for would be Starcraft 2.

I have 960 points, only the two survivals to go. I just don't get time to do them though.

I have the 360 version which looks pretty awesome. To bad the game only kept me entertained for an hour. I just can't play it anymore, so boooring. I was really disapointed in this game, one of my worst purchases to date. Only my opinion of course, my brother loved it.

[QUOTE="drnick7"]Just curious, but is anyone who has actually played the first two games actually looking forward to this bastardization of a franchise? It seems like eveyone hyped for this game has no prior experience with the Fallout series. I could be wrong here, just an observation. Toriko42
I have never heard about Fallout until 3

I love the first two Fallouts, I still have em. I'm holding reservations on 3. But you never know, it might actually be good. I serously doubt it will contain the subtle mix of humour and irony though.

After playing all the Soul Caliber games to date, the dreamcast version is still the best one. I still own my dreamcast and it still rocks by todays standards. Graphics still hold up pretty well and it runs so smoothly. I have soul caliber 2 on xbox but didn't play it much cuz I liked the dreamcast version heaps more. So yes. It's a classic.

That is totally low, so with all the millions they saved they can make the game cheaper to buy right? I think that is totally wrong and I'll not buy any game has advertising like that in it and is not way cheaper to buy. EA you suck.

It wouldn't be hard. DMC 4 as fun but it hardly had lasting appeal. I played it and won it twice, that was about it I'm afraid.
