It really depends on what you do with the game. Sure if you just upload in game movie footage and just play without offering any sort of original content or at least voiceover I can see his point. But many games have great communities based around screwing around the game world and sharing treasured moments of gameplay and hilarity. Games like GTA and Minecraft give you so much freedom to do all the craziness you want that its fun to share and get amazing ideas from fans around the world. Generalizing that all we do is plagiarize is actually really offensive.
I feel like the darkness setting may need to be adjusted and my visual preferences will be fixed. But I remember playing Fable back to back with Fable 2 and found Fable 2 just had more to offer such as actually having kids. More than 3 items to buy for dates. More types of weapons and so on. Fable is a fun game no doubt, but Fable 2 already felt like the welcome progression. Right before 3 screwed some things up.
@SurlyPotato You got this one confused with the military shooter genre. This is a fun screw around game for people who want the freedom to do crazy shenanigans with friends. But to each his own.
@reincarnator07 I think the risk is hoping people don't see that. Like the risk a child takes with the pile of dishes in their room and just moves them in a different spot.
