It just saddens me when people are this out of touch and surprised when a huge part of their audience is offended only to try and spin it that they're the ones who need to get with the times. Next up the NSA will give a speech on, "If you don't have anything embarrassing to hide then you won't find public spying worrisome, nice underpants by the way."
No, the reason I trade games in is when they stop being fun. Like how I traded in Just Cause 2 because despite being a huge landmass and "lot's of missions" it was an endless series of grinds with most of the enemy bases looking identical, even some of the cutscenes were just redubbed to make a different mission. I'd take a small game with diversity over that any day.
Driving around a huge fancy car might have extra features, but if I don't even use all the extra features and I'm just paying more for services I'll never use, then no it's not a better value. My Kinect as it is, is never used, I barely play online, and can honestly say I use my much better browsing applications on the computer for TV or web services. But I do constantly trade games with friends, bring my console to relatives that don't have internet, and have my game system out of the way so it doesn't get in the way of everyone else who uses a different TV in a different room. So tell me Microsoft, is it really a better bargain?
Dead Rising was the first game I ever had for 360. It was fun, stupid, and nonsensical just a different take on zombie games that still has a special place in my heart. I understand trying not to make te experience stale, but taking away the silliness that made the series fun like the (*possible spoilers*) mega man blaster, fighting tigers, and cross dressing just took off the serious subject matter of a world trying to survive zombies and made me laugh just as much as I ran away in horror. Then again this might actually be fun and I'm just complaining about change, but since I can't rent this first not sure what I'll do.
I'm still not liking that green color. I really liked the older 360 green cases, but this looks like the cases are made out of leftover John Deere tractor. Maybe it'll be more translucent and have a shine to it, but for right now I'm just reminded of my days of mowing lawns.
Well this is needlessly complicated and intrusive. And I ain't talking about the always on Kinect.
Gone are the days of, "Hey John, I'm not using this game anymore, you're welcome to have it." It's so absurdly bizarre to think giving my friends a game I no longer use will result in them getting a fee. Xbox One, because you will be alone.
