On the Rise...

Well, damage was done. Doctors figure I've cut a nerve and maybe a little of the tendon, but the plastic surgeon will confirm that.

I'm beginning to doubt it was UBER serious now, because the finger is feelin LOADS better. Typin still hindered due to the splinting techniques, but I just might be able to fire off another chapter, keep watchin!

You Were Hit in Left Finger With Knife for 25 HP!

Hehe, ya. I figured my time to stab myself really deep was overdue. Just got this one last night and CHRIST is it painful! Can't even use the left hand anymore, so, the Richard Walski stories will be either dramatically slowed or indefinitely halted until this thing gets healed.

Going to head 'er on in to the doctor's office this mornin, get it looked at...

Florida Vacation

Well, starting Monday, I'm gone for about a week. Off to Florida.

So, I'll try to squeeze in another chapter of Richard Walski before Sunday night. If I can't, sorry all!

Helluva Time in Battlefront 2!

Decided to go crazy last Thursday and splurge on Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for the PS2. Very VERY nice game, but also extremely challenging to me, having only TRIED the first one.

The speed at which the tables can turn in this game is incredible! I mean, at one point, you're controlling 75% of the areas, and then BAM! Your reinforcements drop by 30 and they have all but one of the areas under their control!

Officially the first game I've ever yelled at in my life. Patience has run out! Hehe.

Lost my Good Taste Award!!

Damn me and my experimental purchases! I try to pick games that appeal to me, but they appeal to few other people I suppose. Oh, well, I'll get it back one day, sell the old, by the best of the new!

Hehe, provided I actually WANT the games that GS suggests.

I See Good Times Ahead For Rev Controller!

Wow, once you get past the original shock of seeing this (or these) thing(s), you can actually see some potential for them! Apparently they were tested on Metroid Prime 2 and it made the game feel way more like a PC FPS! The lock on feature became less important and all of the controls were said to be suprisingly comfortable! I see good things for this Revolution!

Check out the controller demo article on Rev's main page here!

Saw MOST of King Kong!!

Have you ever wondered why theatres still use film projectors? I certainly do now!
I went to see the new King Kong movie last night. That movie was AWESOME! I was right into it, lovin' every moment, then it stopped instantly just as he was entering the streets of New York. An usher came in and said that they were having some trouble with the projector. Well, we waited patiently for 5 minutes and the movie started up again.

Then, the bottom half of the film and the sound disappeared. The picture slowed down to a crawl and the picture finally stopped, burning away.

Needless to say, everyone got free passes, but that is a LONG movie to watch again (not saying I won't do it!). So, go watch the movie, and check with your projectionist that everything will go smoothly. Hehe.

Too Much Writin? Impossible!

Hehe. I've been spending lots of time on this story and think it oughtta sort the chapters into parts. Like, this first part, the Fall of Vault 10. I still have to brainstorm me a new story for when he leaves...

Anyhow, keep up with them comments!

Richard Walski: New Ambition!

Hehe, well, if anyone reads my blog at all, go to the Fallout Union! Click My Updates up there and My Unions, go there and join up! Bring news with ya too, or at least some entertaining writin, we're running short on enthusiasm!

Anyways, I've begun a little story there. It's based on a character I created on that union (in the forums). Hehe, I figured, such a complex character needs a good story! So, I've gotten Chapter 1 up there and I'm set to work on the second chapter: Fall of Vault 10. Hehe, gotta be a Fallout enthusiast for these...I think...

Resident Evil, Don't Scream...

Well, my big mistake of the month turns into my great fear confrontation.

I am positively terrified by horror games. Movies don't do it, but a game will drop my skin temperature like a rock and cause paranoia in dark places. But, I'm tryin Resident Evil 4, and really REALLY enjoying it...even though it is freakin me out a bit...hehe.

Anyways, I love this new storyline (however unresident evilish) and the graphics are way too good! Keep in mind, I'm speakin of the Gamecube version. PS2 version won't appeal to me probably because I hate loading screens.
