Marlonsm's post should do the trick. PCI-E always is the longest.

You want to look for the 12V rail, and the A's associated with that.

Haha, you know, XFX and eVGA are sueing because XFX was eating eVGA on the 8600GT boxes. You know about that?

Anyway, that's the build for you, TC. Add in $XX dollars for XP or Vista, keyboard mouse, and a monitor and you're set.

Actually, now that I think about it. It's been less than 90 Days since the 8600 came out. You could use eVGA's step up program...

FX-62 barebones

or you could build it individually. I would recommend a AM2 board because that can run K10, the new AMD proc family.

AMD 64 X2 4800+ 199CN

XFX 590 SLi 142.99

Case+PSU 120CN

OCZ Platinum 2GB 120Cn

Seagate 320GB 100CN

I gotta go, maybe someone will help me finish this build

It's currently at $683 Canadian, so it's looking good

Just make sure you change it back to HDD after installing, because if you keep CD in boot order 1, then the computer will always search for the CD, then boot. It takes longer.

Hey, sorry I wasn't here man. Glad to see you got everything to work. I'm still kinda perplexed by the Asus floppy BIOS, because all the motherboards I have used have keys to go into BIOS...well, I'm happy for ya. Have fun with your computer.

I have had trouble booting before with a USB keyboard. Try using a standard PS/2 keyboard.
