Go open your case up, using the L shaped lever. The Power Supply should have a label that says something about power output.

I like both, but I'm edging toward the P182. The Sleek, elegant look of the P182 really gives the feeling of "there's more than meets the eye" But the Nine Hundred is still an excellent case. Just opinions, eh?

Nope. They were saying that would be your performance if your PCI-E slots were at 8X speed. For single cards, the slot works at the normal 16X. For SLI you have two slots working at 8X / 8X

Anything more powerful than that, and you will probably have to get a new power supply.

Yep. If you can tell from the Tom's Hardware article about the PCI-E scaling, bringing something down to 1X is pretty bad.

What's going on? The 650i plus your other parts is going to make a very solid gaming machine. The 8X PCI-E thing comes in when you use SLI, but if you can tell from the charts, you only lose 25% performance when using a single card Also, in most of the benchmarks, dropping to 8X or even 4X only slightly decreased performance. Don't worry about it. The 650i is a very respectable board, imo.

Honestly, I think they are equally bad for gaming, and pretty much anything multimedia. Even one of them 7300LE's will be a lot better than those

[QUOTE="frost_mourne13"]like power/heat? Man, I still hope the XG station is going to come out. that would be awesomejfelisario

yep, second that, it may be clunky, but it will close the performance gap between the desktop and laptop to a degree we have not seen before.

I heard a rumor that ASUS was giving up on the XG station. Something about problems with the expresscard bandwith or something. I hope it's not true
