[QUOTE="full_disclosure"]Loved Morrowind, really disliked Oblivion, really liked Fallout 3, hoping to love Skyrim. It sounds like Skyrim is hard again (like Morrowind was). I want certain monsters to be able to one-shot me until I buff up.Put it this way I'm level 46 and still have trouble with certain things I run into. Early on things will obliterate u if u mess with them. For example I want to see what a gaint had at level 14. so I pissed it off. He charged me and did a power strike and I bounced off the ground and flew 1000 feet in the air lol. Thought it was a glitch til later I saw a gaint do it to 2 bandits in a row.If u didn't like Oblivion or Fallout I doubt you'll like Skyrim. While I think Skyrim is one of the best all time and WAY better than both. It's still enough like those games that you probably won't like it.
EDIT: damn GS trip out on me

Just fought an Ancient Dragon. I'd fought several blood and elder dragons but never and ancient. I'm level 46 nord and a beast. This thing had me gulping down potions. Finally got it with the dual wield power attack.
LOL HOLY **** I just came across some "Vorhikar Vampire" south of Winterhold, I thought she was some trash since I was a badass level 36 orc. But man, she completely owned my flame summon, my companion in full Daedric armor and sword, and my Sanguine Rose demon summon with his own Daedric armor and flame sword lol. It took her 10 seconds total. The funniest part happened after though, as I was about to die, I saw a Frost Troll attack her. So I am thinking he might take her...nope, it got 1 hit koed the **** out. The Vampire used thunder bolts/frost blasts, regeneration and healty draining. After getting killed for 20 minutes, I am totally in shock lol. Worst part is my save file is right next to her, so she attacks as soon as I load.PabloEscobar20Use ur shout to toss her (unrelenting force) then hall butt!
I don't think so. I was on The Elder Scrolls fourms the other day and one guy said he had THREE dragons attack The College of Wintherhold in a row.Yeah it's totally random. I fast traveled to Windhold and a dragon killed me. The auto save was in Whiterun before the fast travel. So I fast traveled right back hoping it would be there.....nope. I was pissed too I needed the soul lol.[QUOTE="-Unreal-"]
I don't think dragons are non-scripted. You might notice that if you load your game and a dragon attacks somewhere, you can load your game again and fast travel somewhere else and you'll get another dragon attack. Seems they are on some sort of timer to help space them out.
