Nintendo messed up. Sega messed up. MS will mess up eventually.

The cycle is endless, but fanboys dont understand this and cling to the idea that their favorite company will always win and their most hated company will always lose.

Yes, I agree that Nintendo was industry king when the N64 came out. By then end of that gen it was clear that Nintendo was damaged and had no easy fix. I would say that it wasn't until the GC was clearly not going to save Nintendo, and the PS2 was crushing, thatNintendo was no longer the king and Sony had taken the crown.

So yes. I stand by that logic. This isn't a single elimination tournament we are talking about where the crown changes hands day-to-day. We are talking about industry domination and Sony is still holding the crown. They are slipping and losing, no doubt, but the way I see it until this gen is clearly over and we see what happens next gen...we can't honestly declare a new "king". Only winners and losers.
