[QUOTE="tonitorsi"]

Amazing how I'm suddenly seeing this "My PS3 died" threads.

When my 40GB PS3 has NEVER, gave me any problem whatsoever.

OH!! but you will never see a "My 360 die" Thread!!!! lol :lol::lol::lol:

PvtGump8

He is nothing more then a troll and this thread has NOTHING to do with system wars.

I never thought mine would break either, but I think I know what happened. I ran the new Folding @ Home app on expert mode the last few days which taxed the unit to the max. That combined with dust build up inside must have made it over heat. That's all I can figure, since it's in a well ventilated area.

I care very much, but this is not the place to post this... maybe the PS3 Forums would be better... Or are you a fakeboy trying to make fun of Sony??? 149 Dollars is a good deal considering it would be 400+ to get a new one... more if you tried to find a BC one...W1ckedGo0se
I am disappointed with Sony; Not a fakeboy. I just feel that they should fix it because I'm a very good consumer (lots of PSN games) and I've been pro-Sony since the PS1.

They shouldn't its out of warranty!! Do you know what that means? You can't seriously expect someone to fix something for free if its not under warranty?

Well, I might have to use the heat gun method(I don't want to) to fix it.

It's funny, earlier today there was a thread about how Sony should create a three year warranty and now we have a new member claiming his PS3 broke and wished there was 3 year warranty to cover it. :P

Look up YLOD on You Tube.......I have searched there looking for a quick fix. There's sort of a quick fix...I guess.

I think the new Folding at Home app did it; That's the only thing different I have done. F@H taxes the PS3 to the max.
