@TheZeroPercent: :-) I do appreciate your point of view on this, maybe its just me being a bit too weary of folk now downing everything. Mind you, I'm that out of step that I'm quite happy to question why christian bale is considered the quintessential Bruce Wayne ( heretical thought, I know ) . Just seems now that its at a point where people want to sink a movie before even watching it, some on here swearing blind they'll definitely not watch it, which means, from an individual standpoint they'll never be able to have a valid opinion on it. There are precedents of suitable casting, but they do tend to be based on characters that potentially could exist, Anthony Hopkins makes a pretty good Hannibal lecter, Pauly Shore wouldn't have lent the role the same gravitas ? :-)
@TheZeroPercent: Yep, and those walking trees in that Rings movie, absolutely pathetic, because that's not how I envisagea tree taking a stroll. Within normal confines there cant really be casting errors to the degree you hint at because, well , you cant badly portray something that's fantasy...itd be like saying the hulks movement is all wrong in the avengers...how would anyone know ? No fuckers ever met or is ever going to meet the hulk are they ? For christs sake some folk complained about the zod -superman battle and that the resultant damage wasn't quite right..well yeah , coz we all know exactly how 2 kryptonians having a set to would play out..not forgetting again of course, they aren't erm..real. Let me guess, are you pissed that the dude playing aquaman cant, in real life, make scampi obey his every whim ?
Now see, if it were me trying to offload this technology at $600 ..id take the easy route. Affiliate the damned thing with something it has sod all in common with, yet is instantly marketable. Hence, oculus rift gets some shitty robotic circuit decals stuck on it, Shia lebeouf is spotted wearing the headset and voila..for only $600..your experiencing Oculus Prime :-)
( honestly, shit gag that it is, if I have to explain this to anyone I'm going to fist their mum :-) )
So ...would be journalist Eddie makuch gives us a not so new news story on fictional journalist Clark Kent, based on trailers that have been widely available and announced for the best part of a month? .hey..Ed..before you rush in and shout " stop the press !! ".. We already know...jfk caught a lead sandwich...
@jkittleson: Yes your right, damn I've been such a fool. Just why would anyone in their right mind use the word 'genius' in a sarcastic response to a posted reply ? Go and be an oh-so-busy (no)body elsewhere please, its fairly obvious your just after a vindicated line in to defend professor turdmeister from the original message and to be frank, its very much yesterdays news and I cannot be arsed sparring with you about it..nice to see that you prove yourself to be no exception to my low expectations when it comes to any degree of humour on here at times.
@G4mBi7: dont knock 'em..i need the ads as a delaying tactic otherwise knowing me, i'll unload even before the onscreen ladies , wearing peekaboo underwear, open the door to the pizza delivery guy :-)
( its a common problem amongst us middle aged types )
@joshrmeyer: its been touched upon in this thread..lol.. general consensus is that there just isnt any way to show an excess of 100% in gamespots standard pie chart format :-)
