Stranger things ok and all. But 30 million? I mean it is not like the series is special effect heavy or use A list actors. What could they possibly be spending that much on?

@Barighm: Is always inspiration from previous works in any art. Still does not change the fact that RE1 was one of those genre defining games. Rest of the RE games were just sequels they never were considered THE game.

I mean I do not think WoW was the best MMO but I can not deny it actually is. Everquest was EPIC and to me was the best mmo ever but it did not have the impact that WoW did. And it is the same for RE1. Opinions are irrelevant. Fact is RE1 was an ICON that no other RE ever achieved.

Depends really on your taste but pretty sure all around the first RE is a far better game for its time then 7 and 8 by any metric. RE1 should be top of the list IMO it was the ONLY game in the RE series that was a true classic. I mean the first RE ranks up there with FF7, Zelda, And the like. Sure young people see pixelated garbage but for its time it was a totally new type of game that totally blew gamers away.

8 Eyes, Gauntlet, Tron, Centipede. So many games missing that are far better then half this list. Can not even think of them all. Double Dragon, Karate Champ, On and on. And the first Mortal kombat was probably more popular in the arcade then the 2nd one when consoles were just starting to take over.

Not sure when the labor laws started but they were ignored in the 80s. I was 12 washing dishes in a restaurant and at 14 worked at a factory after school then full time all summer. Heck at 17 I joined the Army in 91.

I know it seems strange with todays lazy kids but it was not that crazy back then to cast kids in roles with jobs.

Seriously doubt anyone preferred him for those roles. He has never been a good actor. His good roles are only because of Hollywood nepotism. He has gotten tolerable over the years but he still has that William Shatner type overacting problem.

Yeah the 23 ps4 dualshocks laying around my house that have a floating left stick proves that the stick on the dual shock is not for the "good" category.
