Hardly would consider internet a necessity. Give me the money I would be out fishing every day and never look at the internet. Where is my fishing welfare? You play video games and use the internet out of convenience and because it is cheap entertainment. Its like having cable tv in the 70s/80s never got welfare for that or any kind of regulations to keep them from gouging their customers with shady business practices.
How about with Internet we start there. Quit letting them use cable company tactics to rob the consumer.
@id0ntkn0w7: Sit in voice chat with a few people in ANY fps game. Everything is cheating. No way the other player is better then you he was lagskipping, aimbotting, teamshooting, etc.
Just the nature of the fps player mindset. Goldeneye would of never been as popular if it was not couch coops with screen cheating like that. Would of been too many campers and would cause too much searching not enough action.
@treechopper88: Even in the 90s you would of had to use an old tv I think. The kind of TVs that could do this are like 70s and maybe early 80s. They still had the test mode that was a white line in the middle of your screen. You could zoom them in and adjust the horizontal and vertical do all kinds of adjustments you do not have on newer tvs.
@mogan: Why? You one of the most powerful companies in the world and been getting owned by a small company like sony in the console space for 2 decades you think you might have a little resentment? And big business influences government agencies legally and illegally every single day.
And proof lol. I mean if you want to see this kind of practice done, admitted to, then forgotten go look at the Keating 5 scandal. You want to see one of the most recent examples go look how the Teachers union told the CDC what to say and they complied. All documented and proven does not matter it has gotten so bad that they do not even need to hide it any more.
@stickemup: You surprised? Think Microsoft has nothing to do with this probe? 100 percent guarantee you Microsoft bribed and pulled in favors to get this probe started. Is just how our system works any more.
How was this just thought of? You do not need a splitter or anything special just old school tvs that still have vert/horz adjustments. Do not need a splitter can just feed the same signal into all 4 tvs and adjust the horz/vert till your screen is all that you see.
I know TVs with horz/vert adjustment about as old as rotary phones but be a whole lot cheaper then this set up.
Good game but would of sold more if the Demo was not so horrible. I skipped this game because the demo was so bad. Was not till a friend told me it was good that I played it.
You say the series is the most influential but you do not put the most influential game of the series int he number 1 spot. Final Fantasy 7 might not be everyone's favorite but it not even debatable that it is the most influential of the series.
6 was barely even known to most. They were playing with all the new crap hitting the market like sega saturn and such. Heck it was not but a few months after ff6 that the playstation came out and super nintendos everywhere started collecting dust. 1994 was probably the biggest advance in a single year in the video game industry in history, And FF6 was behind the times.
