I thought id have a little rant. First off I sell used and sometimes new Nintendo Wiis. I work for a business that buys used items. I work in the e-com department and we sell the good stuff on ebay. Our average used price for a Nintendo Wii this month is $290! Used! Most with out even a box!

I'm all for making money but as a consumer this is ridiculous. Ive played one after another testing them and I don't get it. I think people are caught in this "I cant have it so I want it" craze or something.

IDK its just a rant. I think the Wii draws a different crowd and "some" -read carefully, its just and opinion, of these people are not very game educated and are being taken advantage of. If anything Nintendo should just sell them on ebay themselves. Then the value of the system is worth what people are paying because there creating the price.

No it wouldn't. For one it doesn't need to be on PS2. And all the systems that's is going to be on are all different architecture anyways. There not doing anymore work then they first set to do. They should have spent the time doing the PC version instead of the PS2.

Lost Cost was just a showcase of bringing HDR to the HL2 engine.

I don't think you can play against bots. Unsure if there are any mods to do that specifically. You can get Gary's mod 10 and place Bots "NPC's" into the sand box and fight them.

True.. for gaming. I use my PC for everything else also. Spending money upgrading my PC gives me the ability's to do new things I couldn't before or faster. It make make sense to you to buy a console because you may not use your PC for the other things besides the "Internet" I do video editing, music, movies, graphic arts, and multi task between them. Spending the money on upgrading splits the cost into those functions, not just gaming.

I'm also not being ignorant. EAs battle field page had nothing about BF3 so I was unaware they were developing that.

I fired up some Battle Field 2 today. I haven't played it in a while. After I was done I remembered about the new Battle Field they were developing. I stop in at their website to find out it wasn't being developed for the PC. That blows, and it made me mad.

Ive noticed a few other games out there too that are doing the same thing. It made absolutely no sense. I came to the conclusion its all to make you buy an outdated console and pay again to play online.

There is no doubt that the PC is superior. Not because people may think I'm being a Fan-boy or what ever. It's just, were do you think the technology in those consoles gets develops first? PC.

So its not the PC gaming community bringing down the possible fate of PC gaming its the companies. We have money and will spend it! But not on some system were being force to buy.
